We wanted to go to Cinque Terre but we couldn't find anywhere to stay because we booked too late. How very lucky for us. This place is so charming and the family that runs it is equally as wonderful. We arrived just in time for the afternoon siesta but Daniella called the restaurant down the hill to see if they... More

We have stayed in Corvara for 4 days and went for dinner to Hotel Paese Corvara every night. The food, atmosphere, prices were great! We tried all special dishes - pasta with boar sauce, pasta with pesto, traditional breads (kinda foccacia)... everything was so tasty. The carafe of wine was 6 Euros which was great too. Every night we went... More

We didn't stay here, but stayed in a flat in the nearby converted castle. The hotel is just a short walk down the hill and is one of two places to eat in Corvara. We had such a good time here that we returned another two times, without even trying the other restaurant. We mainly ate the pizzas but that... More

Simple but very nice hotel. 6 or 7 rooms all fully equipped. Good breakfast and dinner, made by the owners themselves and also served by them. Very kind people who will treat you as though you were eating at a friend's house. Relaxed atmosphere in a similar location. The towns of Cinque Terre are close by (15-20 min beautiful drive... More

We stayed here from April 18-20, 2013, and we loved it. It's located in the beautiful little town of Corvara, which is far from the hustle and bustle of city life. It's also not far from the beautiful towns of Cinque Terre. We were able to get to Monterosso al mare in just 20 minutes by car. It's the perfect... More

This small family owned and run hotel is located up a hillside in a tiny town about 10 miles north of La Spezia. We visited in the worst time of the year and still found the place charming. The hotel offers six (I think) accomodations. Ours was spartan and a bit cold, offering a good firm queen bed and bare... More

Very cute small hotel in the centre of Corvara. From here you can easily reach the beaches of the cinque terre or, if you prefer the mountains, you can go trekking toward a beautiful mountain path and reach the sea after ca. 4 hr. Room are very confortable. The restaurant is nice, I advice book a table for your dinner... More

As other reviewers have commented, it can be a challenge to find this village from La Spezia. We did not have a GPS and made more than 1 u-turn, but we persisted and we were very glad that we had done so. We had a fairly large comfortable room overlooking the church bell tower (and the evening game of lawn... More

You cannot go wrong with Hotel Paese. My husband and I had the pleasure to spend 6 nights at this lovely hotel in June, 2012 and we absolutely loved it! This hotel is well located in a picturesque location, really close to La Spezia and Monterosso beaches. The room we had was very cute, clean and with a beautiful view.... More

Hotel Paese is situated in a small village on a hilltop rather close to Cinque Terre and a good base for hiking there. You will drive in fifteen minutes to Monterosso. It is a bit of an adventure to find the way through La Spezia to Corvara so it is an advantage to use a GPS with new maps. When... More
