A perfect stopping point en route between Santander and Southern Spain which would probably repay a longer visit. Bedrooms were have had have all been excellent and very comfortable. The tasting menu and a la carte can also be recommended. The wines from the vineyard are all reasonably priced and the best are very good. All available for purchase in... More

Arrived very late at night after traveling from Santander and was given a very good welcome by the night manager. Had problems finding it because tom tom only allowed us to put in post code - which didn't take us to hotel. Could only have a cheese and ham bocadillo to eat. Room was spacious and comfortable - lovely bathroom.... More

An excellent stop over mid way between Santander and the south of Spain, it's ideally situated for the weary traveller and easy to find just south of Madrid. The spa session that is included in the room price comes highly recommended for soothing aches & pains. It's now advisable to book half board if you want the Menu de Dia... More

Good base whilst travelling through Spain. Half way from port of Santander to Mediterranean; also short 75 min drive from Madrid Airport. Nicely situated in the Spanish countryside Not near any towns Steak dinner was good and service very friendly. Rooms a good size

Nice hotel but very isolated, Stayed in September 2012 ,Reserved a room 4 weeks in advance as they only had 1 room left ! . They charged my credit card 2 weeks before we got there & when challenged about it, they would only accept that they had charged us 2 weeks earlier when we showed them the credit charge... More

Stayed here on outward and return journey. Brilliant place, lovely room, beautiful gardens, excellent terrace food. Restaurant food however is very expensive, we saw no-one dining on either stay. Difficult to pay for wine, a couple of free bottles in the room and usually free with food. Really good breakfast and the late start didn't bother us. Don't understand problems... More

We got off to a bad start here. We hadn't booked and were first given a room with a wash-basin blocked by hair and then one where the door-key didn't work. It says a lot for the excellent food and restaurant service, also the free wine in the mini-bar that the hotel redeemed itself. We had drunk wine from the... More

This wine grower expanded into a restaurant and then a hotel and very nice it is too. About an hour south of Madrid, it was selected as a good stop over when we were heading south. It was too new to be in our sat navigation, so a little tricky to find. To promote their wines there is a free... More

This wonderful hotel is a part of the La Estacada winery just outside Tarancon and offers tremendous customer service (very literate in English), a superb spa (including a fantastic masseur), a great meal in a great dining room and wonderful wine to buy in the shop which is attached to reception. It is just ten minutes from the Alicante -... More

We were looking forward to our first ever stay here and our persistence in searching for it's location was well rewarded. The service we received from the staff was 1st class and the rooms were of an exceptional standard. The added bonus of a wine bath after travelling 300 miles from Santander was brilliant - we were very impressed and relieved... More
