We happened upon Puerto Lapice on our way to Madrid from Cordoba. We had no idea about the little town or the Hotel, just saw the windmills on the hill. We decided to check out the El Puerto, and stopped in, it looked so peaceful, and had convenient parking right out front. The nice gentleman at the front desk, didn't... More

We decided on a stop here rather than rising very early the next morning and traveling all the way from Granada to Madrid. The hotel features some wonderful rustic furniture and a unique stained glass representation of Don Quijote.... More

We had to stay in Puerto Lapice for one night and checked into this two star hotel. The star grade does not explain the standard and it was as good as a great deal of three and four star hotels in England! We had a nice rear facing room with en suite facilities (no bath) which were clean and worked... More

I ended up here on a Saturday night after not having been able to find budget accommodations in either Almagro or Alcázar de San Juan. The hotel is very nice and is located on the edge of town, near the main highway to Madrid. There is plenty of on site parking, some of it covered. My room is small, with... More
