We stayed here for 3 nights with friends. This chateau is beautifully restored and accommodation was excellent. Olivier, the manager was a wonderful host - he could not have done more to make our visit a memorable experience. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

We decided to splurge on a few nights in the Loire valley on our way to Provence. I am so glad that we decided on this chateau, just a few kilometers from Amboise and close to Chenonceau. The chateau is very well appointed, with modern conveniences tastefully adapted to the old building. Our room was the Hector room, and was... More

Has my friends envious when I sent the photos. A Chateau plus. Some slight wear of furniture.Oliver very helpful. Beautiful view out. Great room darkening. Large room and windows open to the park view and 2 horses in the distance. Can enjoy outside eating/picnic around pool or out back. Breakfast the usual French (boiled egg, pastries and yogurt and drinks). Grocery... More

I wanted to give my wife the best experience of staying in a chateau for our honeymoon and this place is absolutely spot on. We spent 1 night for our honeymoon and will definitely be coming back. This is the type of place that you only dream of... It is beautiful, well maintained, clean, comfortable, great staff, amazing breakfast. Simply... More

We had a fabulous three-night stay in mid-April at the Chateau - and we didn't want to leave. We stayed in one of the adjoining rooms (our two kids in one room, us in the other) and it was magical. Gorgeous setting, quiet, lovely breakfast, terrific service from Olivier (making dinner reservations at great places, for example). Easy drive to... More

While touring the many chateaus in the Loire Valley of France, what better way to have a "royal" experience than staying in a charming chateau yourself?! From the moment you start down the small country road and come to the gate leading into the chateau you begin your magical experience. Olivier showed us to our room, which was more like... More

We spent a night here at the Chateau 2mins drive from the main road. Very tranquil and quiet other than the hoot of owls and the sound of insects in the forest. The outside of property is impressive and the interior renovated in recent years. The previous owners clearly enjoyed hunting as the second floor was decorated with numerous hunted... More

We loved this place, with its gorgeous setting in the countryside and the wonderful service of Olivier. There's no restaurant in the chateau, but Olivier puts on a great continental breakfast with fresh French press coffee for each table, eggs you can boil to your own liking, and pasties. He also helped us book dinner in Amboise. The location is... More

What more can you ask for than to stay in a Chateau during a trip to France? Arpentis was the perfect place in a serene setting that could not have been better. We stayed in a room with two twin beds that were clean and comfortable. The shower was spacious and generated enough hot water. The scenery of the pasture... More

We had an utterly fabulous stay and cannot fault anything, the decor of the chateau has been very carefully and thoughtfully designed to make a balance between grandeur and homeliness which makes you feel welcome, spoilt and at peace. All the people are wiling to help but not pushy, the breakfast was the best we had, it is very well... More
