The hotel is basic - room was small but clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice though. we used it as one night stop during a touring holiday of France. It's a good place if you are exploring the Alps.

Beautiful location, staff were friendly. The first cabin we were given the fridge didn't work and was full of water that had flooded the floor. The bedroom smelled of cigarette smoke. It took 2 more tries to find a cabin with a working fridge. This cabin was much better it smelled cleaner. The stove only had one knob that I... More

This B&B hotel really knows how to look after cyclists, motorcyclists and has a campsite for campervans and tents. We had a lovely big room, and there was a place to lock up bikes and motorbikes. Breakfast was one of the best (continental obviously), and the location for attempts to cycle the nearby Cols du Télégraphe, Galibier, Lauteret etc. could... More

I am writing this review as a cycling fan. From this viewpoint, Le Marintan is simply the perfect. The location at the foot of the Télégraph/Galibier is ideal. Breakfast was very nice and diner (served in a nearby pizzeria) was certainly “rich” enough to compensate for all the efforts during the day. There is a locker for your bike. The... More

Chose Le Marintan for a overnight stop while going through Savoie and the cols due to its fantastic location right next to Telegraph, Mount Cenis etc. and was pleasantly surprised. For under 50€ got a spacious and clean room and the bathroom wasn't a closet either. Service was friendly and offered the garage for use straight away and it was... More

We booked two chalets here on a motorcycle tour of the Route Des Grandes Alpes. The accommodation is basic but clean and absolutely inexpensive. There were four of us and we chose to split two chalets, which could actually accommodate up to six people each. This way we each had a bedroom and only had to share the one bathroom.... More

Our family of four recently stayed in a two-bedroom chalet on this property. We had read all of the reviews, so I was not sure what to expect. The chalets are very simple and a bit rustic, but it had everything we needed. One of the bedrooms had two single beds and the other had a double. The shower was... More

Stayed here 1 night as my husband and his friend were cycling the Cols. Hotel clean fresh and simple , rooms small clean and adequate for our needs. Probably more suited to the ski ing fraternity . Nice and quiet although overlooks the road which is sometimes noisy . Have to mention the pizzeria down the road . Great service... More

We used this as an overnight stop on a cycle tour . The hotel is very new, clean, minimalist, hostel like. They didn't do an evening meal which meant a pizza / pasta meal in town which has a limited choice of eateries . Breakfast was fine. Very convenient for all the local cols Galibier, Croix de Fer, Iseran (up the... More

This was intended as an overnight stop on the way to France from Italy....wish that we'd gone to St. Jean (about 15 min. further) instead--This hotel was very spartan and basic--of course, you get what you pay for--the room had walls with cracks and bathroom tiles that were chipped and cracked...the shower drained directly into the bathroom floor...the town itself...
