Previously I would stay at Kota Tinggi waterfall itself but this time a friend organized. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very nice and very well maintained, something usually close to impossible in a tropical rainforest. There were no mouldy smell in the room. This place was our base to do a few treks from. The security is very... More

It was indeed a Back-To-Nature experience as the brochure of the resort had claimed. For city dwellers like us, we were awestruck by the serenity and tranquillity of the hill ranges, the rainforest and simply the quiet feel of the surroundings. Highly recommended for folks who just want a quiet retreat or getaway from city living. The morning mist and... More

Well I was here for a school program together with 40 children. This place is filled with big trees and nice mountains and etc. Well the personalized attention and service from the management was good. Also the security was really good and they actually don't allow people to just come in as and when they like. Only guest are allowed.... More

We went over bank holiday weekend.. had a great time. food was a little scarce. I think they were a little overwhelmed with so many people, but you couldn't be cross because they were lovely staff, one of them very attractive. get involved in the stuff they lay on - the firefly boat ride was great, the farm was a... Thirty five of us arrived at Kota Rainforest Resort to stay for three days and two nights. Overall we have had an enjoyable stay with varied activities around the rainforest resort, healthy buffet simple meals and restful sleep in the comfortable chalet rooms. The BBQ food was good especially the fresh salad. On the first night some went for the... More

Paul, the proprietor, is probably the most optimistic person we have ever met, negativity just bounces off this delightful man. The accommodation is basic but functional and comfortable. The meals plentiful and fresh but maybe too Malay for some western palettes! The activities are varied and aimed at eco tourists as well as those who just enjoy the outdoors in... More

This was a last minute trip that my family and i decided to take over the long weekend. The location of the resort was about 15-20 mins drive from the town. The surrounding is good, allowed us to get back to the nature, fresh air and smell of the rain forest. The room was nice, but 2 of the three... More

it is very very very quiet on weekday...and I feel scary until the next door are back... maybe it is isolated in the forest, so i feel so... i went there on weekday and it seems to be a private resort as hardly to see other people around...haha

The environment and surroundings of the resort is really beautiful; very back-to-the-nature. I'm also loving the layout of the rooms and loft houses. Also noticed that loft houses have adjacent garden seats- perfect for family gatherings. We had two adjacent rooms on the 400+ row. The location was't bad as we had a good view on the porch. The mist... More

Stayed there for 2nights for a church retreat with a group of about 50 people. Overall the environment is quite pretty and the facilities adequate. It is your sort of "back to nature" retreat and is about a 30-40min walk away from the Kota Tinggi Waterfall. We used the conference hall or the Ortak Room a lot and had to... More
