The staff were friendly both in the hotel and at the bar! Food and drinksat the bar were great. Live music which was something most hotels don't have. Didn't even have to leave the hotel to have a great time. I would highly recommend for anyone to stay there.

Have stayed here many times, and always a great time. Spent this past weekend here on mothers day, best bloody marys on the beach, comfortable rooms, excellent service at all of the bars, great live music, wonderful friends and awesome views of the water and sunsets, would recommend staying here to anyone, love this place

We have stayed here 3x ... and plan on making it many more times. The rooms do have tile floor, but is great since you drag sand in from THE BEACH! Beds are a bit soft, but we always sleep well. Bathrooms all deoend on the location ... we have had the full bathtub (huge room) & have had the... More

My husband and I have chosen to stay here 2 years in a row and will be returning for our 3rd year in June. We can afford to stay in the higher priced Hotels but choose not to. We enjoy the laid back atmosphere here. As far as some of the comments I've read about the locals getting better service... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. It was horrible. NEVER NEVER NEVER stay here. Room was musty, old, dirty, smelly, very sandy, dirty, moldy, dirty, dirty, very ugly, looked like a trailer park. Drunks out in the parking lot at night. NOT a safe place. If you like trailer park trash-----this is your place to stay!!!! Also, They charge your credit... More

Stayed for one night on a fly drive holiday, mainly as it said it was on the beach. It is on the beach, but the wrong side of the island, you have to cross over a main road and walk maybe 10 minutes to get to the proper Pensacola beach, but that was our mistake. The hotel is more like... More

Okay, a few honest things here. First and foremost-don't go here expecting a very nice cozy comfortable room. Expect a place to sleep (at least try too) eat and shower. If you have a dog, then you will sacrifice comfort for Fideaux- and that's cool, because no one else will take Fideaux. Keep in mind that as far as the... More

Thid was a test for traveling with our pet. Staff friendly. Stayed in a villa, uncomfotable beds, 1 chair, no coffee maker. Web site showed a sitting area. Pebble parking area out side our room not to good for dog. He ended up with several paw cuts. Despite drawbacks would stay here again.

We found this gem because we were traveling with a dog. We stayed 2 days in January, 2013. We were in room 119 which opened onto the dog run which was perfect. The room had plenty of room with 2 queen size beds, kitchenette. The only downside one of the queen beds had no support, it needs to be replaced.

Our room was located close to the street, which was great! It was off season, so not much noise. The bar was almost deserted, but that didn't bother me. There was one person on the staff (an older gentleman) that was nice. The younger staff member clearly didn't want to be there. It's a dated place, but clean, and you... More
