First, this home stay is located in a rather deserted location. So, if your intention is to visit Alishan, this place would require a longer drive than some of the others (which are situated on the main road going to Alishan). Which also means there's nothing nearby, no food or convince stores. If you want peace and quiet though, this... More

I went to Alishan with my sister and decide to stay with DangGui for 2 nights. As mentioned the bf and dinner are a little simple. Pros. Excellent sunset scenery from around 6+pm in May from the dining hall's corner seat, night scene of Chiayi (if you happened to get the room facing west), sense of isolation (although a fungus farm just below somewhat mar the scene), good aesthetics such as the well landscaped garden with cherry blossoms trees, fireflies hunting each night, karaoke (if you...
