The hotel was remote located. However, their shuttle helped! They offer free shuttle to Taipei 101 but do remember to make reservation in advance and do cancel if you don't need it as it only has 6 seats. Gladly I was upgraded to a bigger and nicer room as an IHG platium member benefit. The hotel itself was a bit... More

Although its location was rather far from the city centre, it was worth a stay. We were given a free upgrade to a junior suite and were very happy about it. Room was spacious and I'll give it a five-star. Anyone who wishes to stay near to the airport can consider this place with an inexpensive room rate.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Holiday Inn in East Taipei. Nice room s Pleasent staff , my compliments to the Room Mgr I believe his name was Mr Wu, for such a great room. The staff is genuinely interested in your contentment and comfort and bend over backwards to please you in the slightest way. They offer... More

The most impressive thing with this hotel is the Staff. the staff are excellent and they are going above and beyond to help the guest. The hotel itself is ok, bit old but clean. Location is not the best and there are not many good restaurant around the hotel. The hotel provide a shuttle to city every hour, make sure... More

This Holiday Inn offers good values regardless you used reward points for free stay or paid money. The staffs are very family and efficient. When you asked one staff a question, a couple available staffs will join in and help you. What a team work at the front desk. Yes, their bathroom has some strains and they house bus load... More

My partner and I stayed at the Holiday Inn East Taipei (room 813) for one night, from 2-3 Jan 2015. While it was okay, there were certainly areas in which this establishment could improve. Firstly however we want to acknowledge that the staff member (Nick) who looked after us at check in was excellent. He was highly efficient and had... More

This hotel looks newly constructed was build with a very open design. It has a skylight in the center so that when you step out of your room you can see the whole floor and right down to the lobby. Brilliant and clean large rooms, with very good service. Stayed at Executive level and the fare offered by the Executive... More

The hotel is not central, but has a good shuttle and taxi's are not expensive. It is close to the zoo and the gondola. All staff were very helpful, especially Robin and Candy. Reasonable value compared to most hotels in the city. Downside was most guests are on package tours. No pool or bar.
