Hotel is standard by cleanliness; but provides free shuttle to and from Tamsui MRT (although it's about 7 minutes walk from hotel to Tamsui MRT). Bus stop is right in front of the hotel by the main street (bus numbers directions, and schedules are hugely listed at the hotel lobby, so we can plan to move around Tamsui area). Few... More

Hotel could have been recently renovated, considering the furnishings and decor are quite new (the facade of the hotel wasn't that impressive!). Our room's on the highest level, we got an ensuite, spacious & cosy. Large beds, big bathroom with complimentary toiletries, large living room with 2 sofa sets and a bar at the corner. Good spread at breakfast. Restaurant... More

The first thing any one will notice staying in Asia Pacific Hotel is the beauty of the Danshui River. Ferries crossing up and down and the sea at the far end. The river is full of red and green lights referring to the EEL traps droppedin by the fishermen which is a beautiful sight at night. There is Danshui railway... More

The hotel is value for money, but at the last point of MTR. It takes almost 1 hour from Taipei city to reach there. Advisable for tourists but not business travellers. Decent rooms, nice and friendly staff, average breakfast . Location is near to MTR , just 10 minutes walking distance. Near to restaurants like Pizza Hut, Dominos's, Subway etc.

At first glance, the hotel seemed to be in the middle of nowhere (nowhere for a tourist), but its about a 10-minute walk away from the MRT, night market, and some restaurants like Subway, Pizza Hut, Domino's and Mo's Burger. Hotel is about an hour away from Taipei Taoyuan International Airport (without traffic) The staff are very friendly and accommodating.... More

Hotel is 10minutes away from the Metro, including an uphill and downhill walk that bombards you with freezing winds in December. The area the hotel is in is quite barren, save for a Family Mart (7-11 clone) behind the hotel. Breakfast was terrible, but we did eat after the tourists. Still... it was terrible, and eating last is not really... More

The hotel decor and ambience is defnitely very welcoming. the bed is comfortable and the toilet and room amenities are clean and well maintained. The breakfast is good. The 2 drawbacks on this hotel is location, which is quite out of city of Taipei but accessible with train. and this hotel hosts loads of Mainland Chinese tourists and breakfast time... More

Well... firstly, this hotel advertises itself a 5-star hotel. From the facilities (no pool, no gym, nothing), the decoration and the service provided, I would only give this hotel at most 3 stars. Don't be fooled by the pictures of the Asia Pacific Resort. They have nothing to do with the hotel. The location of the hotel is quite far... More
