A great little park with touring pitches and some cabins. Nice hot showers in toilet block - doc, tranquil site with good views. Friendly owner. Cabled internet only. Lots of facilities including gas BBQ, kettle, toaster, oven etc and full washing facilities (clothes and dishes) for campers use. I would stay here again. (Reading other reviews-Yes a little maintenance is... More

We stayed here for one night on a recent trip to northland, The owners were very welcoming and great hosts, the facilities and grounds well maintained. Close to the Kauri museum with views over local farmland. A peaceful place to stay and enjoy this part of NZ.

Yes this is now under new management and there is a lot of work being done ... the Chalets seem to be in good condition and the grounds are now being updated. By Christmas I am told that there will be more activites going in. A great holiday spot for family and friends...

Campsite not we'll maintained or run. Beware the water taps do not all dispense drinking water. It is near the Kauri museum but if you don't want to go there avoid this campsite. Toilets few and rather old, possibly dirty. We were glad to leave. Not up to the normal NZ standard

Well worth a couple of nights. Great Kauri museum, great cafe, great farmlands with 100 kauri tree grove and local beaches. Loved it though I expect the sushine and pool helped. Will go again for sure.

This park is extremely pretty and small and green - bonus lovely swimming pool - the nearby beach is pretty awful! We loved the Kauri museum but really only needed one night here instead of two. We booked the two bedroom holiday unit which is self-contained and was terrific with bunk room at one end, living space, kitchen and bathroom... More

This campsite is just great. It is quiet and exceptionally clean. The site is located in countryside that is like a postcard, very tranquil. We stayed here on the way up North and would highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly, and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool was a great bonus and the kids loved the pool.

Clean, comfortable, peacefull, friendly, well set up. Our park motel unit was a little beauty. Our deck was sunny and sheltered, bed large and comfy, kitchen had all the necessary stuff, the shower was premo and it was all so clean .No roudy traffic just the birds.

When we first arrived at about 6:50pm we were told that we were lucky to have arrived before 7pm as that is when they close reception. However, we could have just found a park and paid in the morning. There were very few people at the Holiday Park so we picked a site that suited us - one that had... More

We just stayed one night in our camper on our way up North and the weather was bad but the owner was very helpful and welcoming. Its a really cute little campsite and would be fun in the summer. It was well maintained. Beautiful views over the harbour.
