After a long drive we arrived in somewhat the middle of nowhere, a beautiful house runned by a Kiwi wife Linda and her husband Ki, a phenomenal architecture, who both lived maby years in France. The b&b is eco friendly, very peaceful, lots of flowers where filtered rainwater is used and let me tell you: it taste much better than... More

We arrived late that afternoon, after a long drive from Whitianga on the Coromendal Peninsula. The weather Gods weren’t that good to us but we were very kindly welcomed by Linda. She directly suggested to visit the Kauri Museum as enough time would be left. A very beautiful and well maintained museum. As there aren’t that much places around for... More

Clean and friendly does not do justice to the wonderful hospitality and comfort we experienced at Petite Provence. It was wonderful to feel so at home in someone else's home. The outlook lovely with a welcome that makes us want to visit again. I can not recommend a stay with Linda and Guy enough. Tina and Rocky Carey

We stayed, my wife & I, in this wonderful place. Our hosts are really nice, take care of us and share with us lots of things. The room was superb and despite the weather, our holiday was great. We'll come back ;) Pour les francais - ils parlent parfaitement Français.

We, two couples, spent a lovely weekend in the Kaipara district 10 days ago and stayed at Petite Provence. Linda and Guy were very welcoming and made us feel very much at home. Their house is set in a lovely peaceful rural setting with beautiful views from both sides of the deck. Bedrooms were very clean and nicely appointed, all... More

Thank you Melo for your review, I found you both very interesting people to talk with. It was unfortunate that our modest rural family home B & B was not up to your high Luxury Traveller expectations. We will endeavour to make improvements where possible. Kind regards, Linda & Guy More

Beautiful spot with a spectacular view at Linda and Gay’s B&B. New, nice, clean and well equipped room. We recommend Linda’s lovely dinner plate and the local wine. Very helpful and friendly hosts, don not miss a visit to Gay’s designer chair workshop (gaybucchi.com).

We had a superb night with Guy and Linda - a nice chat around the kitchen table & relax before dinner, a delicious meal with lots of fresh produce cooked by Linda, and an extra restful sleep in a lovely room. We woke to a beautiful day, amazing sweeping rural views and a lovely breakfast. It was a beautiful surprise... More

The rustic setting in the middle of the country was a novel experience for us and we really appreciated being offered a cold supper as there were no restaurants nearby. We were interested to talk to Linda about the land which she was so passionate about and her conservation project and to see Guy's studio where he designs and makes... More

The hosts are Linda and Guy. Got to know them in no time. They are very friendly and cater to every need. Their local knowledge is excellent and we were well directed to the major tourist attractions during our three day stay. Linda is a fantastic cook and we took advantage of her offer to do meals and food plates.... More

Thank you Robyn & Alan for your very flattering review. It was a pleasure to have people like yourselves stay 3 days and we enjoyed our interesting conversations together.
