We stayed for one night during our motorcycle tour of the North Island and wished we could have stayed longer. Our hosts Linda and Guy could not have been more welcoming. Beautiful location in rolling farmland. We had a gorgeous platter for dinner made from all home grown produce. Delicious! A very interesting couple, a pleasure to have made their... More

Linda and Guy are a wonderful couple. We spent only one night there but could have stayed more. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfy and the separate bathroom had nice toiletries. Once we unpacked they invited us to tea and biscuits in their kitchen. There was a separate lounge for guests with a TV and a... More

We stayed a night here after visiting the Kauri forests on the west coast, a short drive away. It was a little hard to find (make sure to follow the directions from the hosts!) but a beautiful spot with great views. The room was very clean and pleasantly decorated with a shared veranda overlooking the hills. The continental breakfast was... More

Hello cookwilko, Thank you for your review. We are only a 10 minute drive from the wonderful Matakohe Kauri museum but yes being rural we are a little off the beaten track. I'm glad you enjoyed my simple cooking, I try to use our own unsprayed vegetables as much as possible. Kind regards, Linda More

Wonderful find in a remote beautiful spot, warm welcome, comfortable rooms and delicious food! The host and hostess were so helpful in giving us lots of information about the area, and helping us plan our stops. The hot meal was one of the best in all of New Zealand!

What a lovely place to be! The location is amazing as are the owners of the B&B. A very warm welcome. Nice and clean room with a great bed. The view is breathtaking and at night it's pitch black. No light pollution here. Also very quiet, zo perfect for a good night's rest. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of choice and... More

If you want to see great cities - this is not where you want to go but if you are looking for a spectacular getaway then La Petite Provence is for you! The scenery is beautiful - if you have a camera you will be taking lots of pictures. The only sounds you will hear is the distant mooing of... More

My wife and I, and my brother and his wife, had 2 rooms. The home and the accommodations were very very nice. The view when we woke up in the morning was spectacular (photo attached). Linda and Guy are wonderful hosts and Guy spent a good deal of time with us showing us his artworks (chairs) which are amazing. The... More

After a long drive we arrived in somewhat the middle of nowhere, a beautiful house runned by a Kiwi wife Linda and her husband Ki, a phenomenal architecture, who both lived maby years in France. The b&b is eco friendly, very peaceful, lots of flowers where filtered rainwater is used and let me tell you: it taste much better than... More

We arrived late that afternoon, after a long drive from Whitianga on the Coromendal Peninsula. The weather Gods weren’t that good to us but we were very kindly welcomed by Linda. She directly suggested to visit the Kauri Museum as enough time would be left. A very beautiful and well maintained museum. As there aren’t that much places around for... More

Clean and friendly does not do justice to the wonderful hospitality and comfort we experienced at Petite Provence. It was wonderful to feel so at home in someone else's home. The outlook lovely with a welcome that makes us want to visit again. I can not recommend a stay with Linda and Guy enough. Tina and Rocky Carey
