Stayed in windbury cottage for one week end of march and it was fantastic. Weather cold and windy but the cottage nice and cosy. Everything you could need for self catering. Took our 2 dogs and they loved it. Thankyou Martin for the treats you left us and for making us welcome.

Dear Boggarthill, Thank you for taking the time to write a lovely review of the cottage. It was chilly, but at least it was dry. What can be better than a lovely stroll on the peninsula with the dogs, and then returning to a warm, cosy cottage? I do hope that you will be able to visit us again. Kind... More

A lovely little cottage in a peaceful location. The welcome was excellent with flowers, chocolates and a cream tea waiting! The cottage was cosy, had everything we required and very warm. Comfortable beds, lovely shower and sunny patio to sit and relax on. Wii machine a real bonus! Lots of useful literature on local walks and places to visit. Ideal... More

Dear David, Thank you for writing such a superb review of Windbury Cottage. I am delighted that you enjoyed our welcome when you arrived. I put the Wi-Fit into the cottage as it was mine, but it is completely beyond me. I always press the wrong button or sway the wrong way and lose! I hope that I will be... More

We really enjoyed our holiday in hartland. The cottage was clean cosy and comfortable and in an idyllic location. Cottage was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Perfect for a quiet country get-away. I would definitely recommend yapham cottages. Local attrations can be a drive away but this was not a problem for us. Beautiful beaches and the coast... More

We stayed in Windbury for a long weekend with our Labrador dog. Martin the manager was attentive and helpful. Dog bowls and treats provided and offer of a towel for him. There is only an open terrace/patio outside this cottage so we could not let him out unattended. However, there are acres of grounds for dogs to explore with their... More

We arrived to a lovely reception of fresh cream teas with gorgeous homemade scones. All the cottages seemed well laid out with landscaped paths and bird feeders aplenty. The interior of the cottage was thoughtfully laid out with DVD's for all and plenty to read too. Access in the shed for washing machines/dryer and recycling is encouraged. There was plenty... More

An excellent base for local walking, especially the South-west Coast Path. Our party of four all agreed that this was, without doubt, the best-equipped cottage any of us had ever visited. The split-level design was ideal for two couples, giving maximum privacy in a snug environment. The welcome was warm and helpful, and the location, within a treed, landscaped environment... More

Yet again, Yapham excels. An extremely well equipped and very comfortable Barley Cottage with a warm hospitality welcome, makes for a relaxing holiday period. Even a bright lit Christmas tree in the conservatory cheered the winter weather outside in this quite secluded trio of peaceful cottages.
