Popped here for an evening meal, chose the burgers, fantastic tasty steak burgers, huge and very filling. Good friendly conversation with the owners son who was looking after the place whilst they were away. A very good chef too! Would eat there again.

Really friendly landlady - nothing too much trouble. Great value with good food and excellent beers. Super full english breakfast but plenty of other choices. Rooms basic but adequate at a reasonable price. Off street parking and great location for coast.

Really hospitable couple. Room was clean. Bit small but had everything we needed. Bar was by far the busiest in the village.. Very friendly locals leading to a relaxed atmosphere all round. Inn was easy to find and has off street parking. I wouldn't claim it is perfect, but for the price you pay, and the proximity to some outstanding... More

We stayed here for one night and were greeted by the friendly owner. The room was pleasant and all the basics were covered. For the price of our stay which included breakfast, it was very reasonable. The only things that we would say that could improve the hotel overall would be its cleanliness, decor in the communal areas and stronger... More

Stayed here for a quick one night stop off whilst visiting the area, excellent welcome from the owner Angela, extremely friendly lady. We had the family room which was a great size, nice comfy bed. We ate here in the evening and the food was nice home cooked meals. Good service and friendliness all round from the staff and owner... More

We really enjoyed our stay here - we found the Inn on trip advisor on the spur of the moment, phoned up and arrived 40 minutes later to a warm, friendly welcome - the room was much larger than we were expecting, very clean, welcoming and with a heater which was very effective. The bed was comfortable and the en... More

The staff and locals welcomed us strangers onto their pub, great log fire on the go on a cool March evening. We didn't stop for dinner but it smelt delicious so we could be back there soon. A typical country pub with flag stone floor and beamed ceilings.

As good a place as any to stay if you are exploring the North Devon / Cornish coast. Biker friendly and very welcoming from the minute we turned up. Grub is good if a little basic but excellent portions. Breakfast will set you up for the day. Comfortable bed and quiet surroundings should ensure a good nights sleep, especially after... More

Lovely place with lovely food and lovely breakfast! Staff all very friendly! The cleaner could do with a few tips though as room was not very clean! (tide mark around the bath, hairs in plughole and mirrors and windows covered in fingerprints! The hotel is lovely just needs the polishing touches!
