We stayed at Watchman for two nights in August 2013. While the sites aren't the most spacious, we easily fit our two tents. It's also walking distance to the visitor center where you can pickup the shuttle and explore the park. Easy reservations, great spot - highly recommended.

This is a very nice campground at Zion. It is in walking distance (10-15 minutes) or biking distance (5 minutes) to downtown Springdale and the restaurants and shops located there. Several newly renovated bathrooms are scattered around the campground with nice dishwashing stations. For rv-ers, the electric campsites are nice and there is a dump station and water filling station... More

Good news - The campground does not allow generators, which forces the noisy RVs to be quiet and allows their owners to finally listen to nature (while giving the tent-owners a chance to actually hear nature). As for spots, pretty much anything in the outer, upper perimeter for the D Loop, which is for tents only, is good. You will... More

Nice and spacious campground in the heart of Zion National Park and close to the shuttle stop. Fits max 3 tents per spot. Clean bathroom and showers nearby. Very nice and quiet, beautifully landscaped, good value.

For a national park this is a nice campground. The mountains surrounding you are truly beautiful. Overall I would rate it 7.5/10. I think what lacks in this campground is privacy. There aren't a lot of trees that separate you and your neighbor. But it's inside the park so it's great for easy access to the park. :)

We reserved site C-22 and were not disappointed. We had incredible views of Watchman and easy access to the visitor center and transportation within Zion National Park. The campsite was clean, quiet, shady, and beautifully landscaped. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to see that the "new" restrooms that we had read were to be completed next year were... I agree with all the positive reviews on this campground you get a generous pitch with a fire ring table and seats, stayed here for 3 nights all was very quiet and easy access to the coach service to all trail heads and points of interest did not find anything to complain about.

We stayed here for three nights and found the campground to be perfect for our needs. The campsites were large and good for one or two tents. The bathrooms were VERY clean. At night it was quiet and the other campers were very respectful of others.

Camping here has good and bad features. I don't think that the park service can do much about the negatives due to the location--but they are there. 1-Location is awesome. Right in the park-steps from the shuttles to take you up the canyon for hiking. 2-Bathrooms are clean. 3-There are no showers at all. That's rough after a full day... More

My husband and I stayed at the Watchman Campground in July. The location is simply beautiful!! Our site was very level and close to a large shaded tree. It was also very quiet!! I was shocked at how quiet it was at night/morning...which was nice for sleeping. I booked the campsite in May for July. There were plenty of campsites... More
