My Husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in October, we spent our days trekking and hiking through Zion National Park, and back here for the evening. We had been travelling for a few weeks by the time we got here and really enjoyed getting some local food and cooking up a BBQ and sitting by the fire by... More

We stayed at the cowboy cabin #209 in ponderosa just last week end for one night. To my surprise just for 67$ we got a nice bunk bed with two queen beds with very good quality bedding, pillows and toiletories. The bathrooms were less than 200 feet walk and offered great hot showers and a huge line of clean restrooms.... More

Staying in Springdale would be better if you can afford it. It is right next to all the Zion National Park attractions and there are good bars and places to eat. Zion Ponderosa Ranch is in the middle of nowhere about 30 minutes from Springdale. The drive into Zion from Ponderosa is beautiful however so the 30 minutes drive is... More

We stayed in a cowboy cabin here. Cabin was very clean and a nice place to stay. The showers are good. Pool is run down, not that clean and the hot tub was not hot. The property is generally run down with little piles of junk in all the corners. Breakfast was not so good, a typical hotel breakfast of... More

We arrived in the afternoon and spent here a very nice and calm evening and night. Nature, silence, warm fireplace. Highly recommended for those who want to hide from urban sounds. Very stress releiving. Nice professional friendly staff.

We visited this resort in an RV off season... there were maybe 2 other sites occupied. The pools were ice cold and much wasn't staffed. The location however was amazing. There is access to hike directly to observation point inside of Zion National Park. We jumped in and out of the hot tub and the ice cold pool. Quite shocking... More

We visited Zion Ponderosa towards the end of October 2014 and we could not be more pleased with the resort! October is the perfect time to visit Zion. We stayed in a small one bedroom cabin suite which worked out perfectly for our little family of 4. There was a comfortable queen-sized bunk bed in the bedroom and a pullout... More

We stayed here in October 2014. This is not a good place to stay if you are looking to spend time in Zion National Park. Although it is just about 7 miles from the East entrance, if you want to see the main part of the park, you need to make a 45 minute drive to the other side. An... More

We stayed here one night in a 25 foot RV. We stayed on site #8 and it was not level at all. It sloped downhill, so we had to park our RV a bit sideways to make it work. So, if you can avoid that site, then do so. There are not very many trees, so I think the RV... More

I live in southern Utah and frequent the parks around here. I had my four kids (aged 2-8) packed up and ready to go camping at Zion National Park. When we got there early Thursday afternoon all the campsites were full as were all the tent camping sites in the Springdale side of Zion. Not wanting to head back home,... More
