Campground had not been mowed. We had q-tips and trash on the ground at the site. All of the trash cans were full and most were broken and/or no lids. Owners we're nice but the campground needs work. Will not be back.

The owners were very nice people but I believe they try to maintain it themselves which is obviously an overwhelming task. It's unfortunate because the views and the overall area is very pretty. They let locals use the laundry, showers and pool for a fee which I found to be out of the ordinary for a KOA. Wouldn't be my... More

We were looking for a campground the in Front Royal area and did not want to go back to Gooney. We found this one and book, even though it WAS a KOA. We normally do not book KOA’s because they are not the type of camping we enjoy, more a State Park kind of camper. Please keep this in mind... More

Owners are some of the most unfriendly people you will ever meet. We booked a reservation ahead of time and gave them our credit card over the phone. I was quoted one price over the phone and was told I would be given a discount when I got there. We unfortunately didn't make good time so we got in after... More

Stayed here for three nights, well maintained very clean campsite. The owners were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. We can honestly say it is one of the nicest camp grounds we have stayed in. Reading the previous reviews I agree to totally disagree with the negative reviews I think they caused their own problems, because the pool was spotless the... More

Stopped for one night. Did not know what to expect. We found the owners very kind and helpfull. The site is wonderfull, between forest and fields. It is close to town and to shenandoah river state park, and the Shenandoan river itself. Very quiet and also very good for kids because of the different possibilities of activities (pool, basket, playfield... More

Unfriendly chinese owner. Camping not maintained. Barbeque pit unusable and grill was missing. Mini golf unusable, pool not heated and not well cleaned, no value for money ... there are much better places for the same money!

This campground gets sort of a bad rap. We stayed here for 7 days and had a pleasant stay. The owners are an asian couple who couldn't have been nicer to us. Our spot was under some very nice shade trees - yes there is not much grass in the parking areas however there are fire rings and picnic tables.... More

....through the cow pasture and over the terrible roads. Narrow, narrow drive into it. Space is on a hump. Good thing it wasn't raining, what wi all the bare red dirt ground. Very little grass anywhere. They advertise free wi-fi but neglect to tell you it's only in the office down at the bottom of the hill. This is quite... More

Didn't know how unkept until we went up the hill to park. Rain created a mud bog. Only good thing was the view. No maintenance noticeable. Did not enjoy the stay at all! Beautiful vistas..cows in pastures. Leaves turning colors did not balance rotten wood wood and nasty building
