I booked cabin for two people. The price was reasonable. Then I found out the cabin has two bedrooms with two double beds. It's really good if travel with more people. I definitely will recommend this to my friends~

Had a great time camping with friends in the Shenandoah National Park recently. We go in the Spring and Fall and stay at Lewis Mt Cabins; we have been doing this for nearly 30 years with the same group of friends. Always enjoy the hiking, campfire cooking and time with our friends. Cabins rustic but clean and bed very comfortable;... More

The cabins are a great, inexpensive way to enjoy Shenandoah, without a tent! I love being able to sleep in a real bed, have a real bathroom, but cook and eat outside! Bring your board games and cards!

Stayed 1 night after a long day of hiking. Manager was kind and welcoming. Clean room with an unexpectedly comfortable bed. Rustic feel added to the charm. My only beef was having to pay for firewood - would have thought this could have been included (or a least some). Would definitely stay again!

We try to stay in Shenandoah NP whenever we are passing thru the area. We live in Dallas, but drive to visit family in Maine & Maryland every few years. Our favorite place to stay in the park is the Big Meadow campgrounds. We have also stayed in the lodges, but miss the campfire experience. This year we decided to... More

I like to stay in the Shenandoah area every year, but this was my first time at Lewis Cabins. I only stayed one night, so chose a Sunday. The cabin was perfect for what I wanted...basic, clean, and simple. Ha, I didn't even use the shower, b/c I went to hike more after checking out! They supplied nice white towels,... More

I wish I had stayed longer as this is a perfect midway point through the drive. The manager has some crazy killer stories but is very helpful and knowledgeable. He recommended some pretty neat hikes and we developed from then on. The cabins are very comfortable and spacious and you get a copy balcony at the back of the cabin,... More

We stayed at Lewis Mountain Cabins for a long weekend and enjoyed it very much. The cabins are rustic but comfortable. There is no fridge but coolers worked just fine for us. Loved cooking over the fire pit and sitting around the fire at night. The staff was friendly and helpful when needed. The shower could have been alittle bigger... More

We really enjoyed "camping out" ... sitting around the campfire, seeing the stars, enjoying the quiet, cooking steaks outside. Then we appreciated the fact that we had our own indoor plumbing and a bed instead of a sleeping bag.

Lewis Mountain Cabins were exactly what we were looking for: a clean, simple place to stay inside the park, with the ability to make S'mores. The staff at the camp store were extremely nice (even when we were a few minutes late to check in.) They recommended a great hike that had options for all ability levels in our group... More
