We were pleasantly surprised last week, when on our way through the park, we stopped at the Lewis Mountain cabins to see if they had a cancellation and they did! It took a while for the lodge store assistant to get us checked in but while he did we visited with other cabin renters and learned a bit about the... More

Rented the hikers cabin, bare bones with 2 bunks, and a stove nice outdoor area for fire and cooking. Great if you are planning on spending all your time outdoors, and need a place to sleep. friendly people, great hiking in walking distance. AT in backyard.

The cabin was well appointed, albeit with a dated bathroom, but with a good bed, heat and decent furnishings. Not what I expected from a 'rustic' cabin - much nicer. Our weather was not the best - cold and rainy, but our outdoor cooking area was fine and once we got a fire going, we really enjoyed cooking - even... More

Our family had a lot of fun at the cabins. The trip down to dark hollow falls was great, very invigorating. I loved the fact that everyone was connecting with their electronics. Definitely going again.

Wonderful experience. Friendly staff, clean and warm cabin, great location in a beautiful park. Will return. Loved the outdoor living areas. Brought our dog and she was very comfortable with the area. She loved the trails that were near the cabin.

We enjoyed the cozy cabin! Stayed 3 nights and wished we had booked a longer stay. General Manager Randy was so friendly and helpful with any concerns we had. Other staff members at the camp store were also A+! Complimentary coffee was made all day for cabin visitors. Campfires at night along with toasted marshmallows added to an overall great... More

Booked 2 nights at Lewis Mountain cabins. The first day of our stay 10/15, it stormed all day, so we decided to just stay at home, since no outdoor fun would be had at Shenandoah Park. Called three times to say we were not coming Wednesday and busy signal all 3 times. We arrived 10/16 (Thursday) afternoon and a Mr.... More

I felt secure and good being so close to nature. The rooms are not fancy but a rustic look with real wood on all of the walls, floors, and ceiling is what makes the cabins so good. I would love to make this a family get together.

Check in in was fast and easy. The cabin was very clean and neat. Comfy bed. It was truly an enjoyable experience of staying in a cabin in the mountains. We had four deer run through our cabin lawn just as we were starting our bonfire.
