We spent three days at the Montecito Sequoia Lodge and loved every minute. Beautiful vistas, great activities, wonderful food (and all you can eat...) I thought it would be rustic so I brought shampoo and hair dryer - but no need. These are provided. Comfortable bed, plush bath towels. A great vacation spot for the active hiker or someone who... Very basic wooden lodges with very squeeky floorboards. I don't know which was more surprised or frightened by the mouse hiding in the corner of our room. Ignoring (if you can) the mouse the room and bedding was clean. The price was inclusive of evening meal and breakfast, the food was buffet style and perfectly adequate and wholesome.

My husband and I spent one night here at the lodge. I'm not sure what I expected, but the lodge itself is old and very casual. The common areas, dining room and fireplaced activities room had a very casual feel, there were books on the shelves that you could borrow, board games, ping pong and foozeball. Everything was help yourself.... More

Wonderful lodge, plenty of delicious food & drinks, friendly staff, lots of activities, convenient location for both Kings Canyon & Sequoia Park. Strongly recommend, especially for families with kids!

We had great fun at Motecito Sequoia! Plenty of activities (like sports, water activities, hiking, games...), beautiful lake, good food (3 meals included), very friendly stuff. The rooms are OK, much or less what we expected. Staying there was the best choice we made. Exceeded our expectations.

I recently stayed at Montecito sequoia lodge with my husband and three children. We loved our stay! The room was comfortable and clean with a view of the mountains. There was plenty of food and it had a wide variety. Several members of our family are vegetarians and they also felt they had plenty to choose from. The staff were... More

My wife made the reservation over the web and was worried the whole way there. When we arrived her concerns evaporated. Beautiful brand new "cabin" that was quiet and relaxing. It is more like a summer camp environment which means, wonderful for children, families. Their staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Only thing they may want to improve is how... More

My wife and I stayed here in our recent visit to USA from Melbourne, Australia. It was end of March 2013, chilly spring but beautiful blue skies. There were remnance of snow on the ground which adds to the dramatic scenery. We had a room overlooking the lake. What a beautiful lake. The room was rather small but it holds... More

The only good thing I can say, is mother nature rocks! The lake and surrounding area is beautiful. Our room had leak rot in the ceiling and walls. The lights in the hallway were out. The door at the top of the stairs was torn from it's hinges. The smoke alarm in the next room was chirping from low battery.... More
