The Lodge is really nice!!! The food was great!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The activities for the kids are fun! The views are beautiful!!!! It's the perfect vacation!!! But....... The room we stayed in the first night was really bad :(... It was dark, (needs more light) the room felt very dirty. The bathroom was not very... More

If you want a hassle-free family vacation with no end of things to do, then Montecito Sequoia Lodge is the place. It's an authentic mountain retreat run by real people, not some huge corporation. If, on the other hand, you are looking for the spa treatment or some hoity-toity resort so you can pretend you're Royalty, this is not going... More

If you are looking for an adventurous epic family trip, without spending every dime you have, this is your place! Kids Club activities are varied and tailored to the wants of the children involved...archery, riflery, fencing, fort building, canoeing, and hide and seek to name a few. The staff work hard and are so accommodating. Did I mention that they... More

We paid more than 200 dollars for this hotel. It was all inclusive so we thought it is Ok. We arrived at about 7:40 and there was no diner. When we called them to let know we will arrive after 7:00 o'clock, they could have told us this, but the night shift staff is untrained. So believe or not, we... More

This was the perfect place for our family! We have 3 kids (5, 3 and a baby) The fact that breakfast, lunch and dinner is included is amazing! I was so thankful that I didn't have to worry about when and where to eat while we were in the park. They even packed a trail lunch for my family, because... More

This place is like a hostel. No tv. The wifi is a dial-up. Walls are terribly thin. Dirty quilt comforter on an uncomfortable mattress. If you are planning on visiting the park, do yourself a favor and stay in a nice, comfortable hotel in Fresno and then drive up to the park. We arrived around 8pm on a Friday night,... More

I didn't book long before our stay and because it was short we knew we needed to be inside the park. We were very lucky we came here as the lodge is homely and comfortable but most importantly the staff were fabulous, always so friendly and helpful. The breakfast, lunch and dinner which was included had a good range and... More

Don't be put off by arriving at the 'back of the house," as the view is just around the front of the building, making it worth it. Wasn't quite sure what to expect for the price that included meals, but we were definitely pleasantly surprised. Rooms in the Lodge were rustic but large, clean and comfortable. King size bed in... Pleasantly surprised by the variety & quality of the food. Having stayed in other National Parks accommodations, I was not expecting much. The accommodations are definitely rustic but clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable & welcoming. Every question & request is met with enthusiasm (but not in an exhausting way). This isn't luxury but you will feel welcomed... More

We have had a great stay here, the view from the room on the top floor of the Lakeview Lodge is spectacular. The staff have been very welcoming and helpful with all of our enquiries. The activities on offer are great for adults and kids, today we did fencing, archery, bouldering (rock climbing) and air rifelry amongst our family. The... More
