What a beautiful place! My family had the opportunity to enjoy a few wonderful days at the lodge last week. We stayed in 2 of the cabins and they were so cozy! We were so excited to heat the cabins by a wood burning stove and the kids were excited about the bunk beds! The food at the lodge was... More

We decided to splurge and rent one of the new cabins for my boyfriend's birthday and I can't say enough nice things about it. It was beautifully decorated and the full length windows gave a breathtaking view of the trees outside. Our private deck out back had chairs so we could relax outside. A king bed downstairs with full bathroom... More

There's a good reason this place is #1 in its' area! :) Our family planned to go to Kings Canyon and we were looking at a different place to stay in. I guess everything fell into its place because we ended up booking Montecito since our first choice was sold out minutes before we were ready to book. Thank goodness... More

We opted to extend our trip for an extra night at King Canyon and Sequoia Nat'l Parks. I didn't realize that pickings were slim for that area, The lodge we were already staying at did not have any availability so I looked online and found The Montecito Sequoia Lodge. The quoted price seemed fair, but then I read the fine... More

people from many countries all mingle in the dinning room . The lodge is the perfect base camp. Go north to Ceder Grove , south the next day to Moro Rock . Stop at every visitors center, view point and gift shop. I now love the lodge because of the great team that keeps this lodge running , Front desk... More

We spent a fabulous weekend in Kings Canyon, partly thank to Montecito Lodge. I had some reservations about this place in the beginning due to the fact that it is a "summer camp" with kids and we are up here on an anniversary celebration. Maybe we still came early enough before the summer family crowds... The lodge itself is in... More

This was our first visit to the Lodge. Arrived on the mountain but snow had closed the road. Toured a lot of the sites to keep ourselves busy. Eventually the road opened and we made our trek back into the Lodge. Great setting. We had a room over the ski rental shop which was perfect. Quiet like I had requested.... More

This is such a special place ! Perfect for meeting folks from all over the world and sharing stories of the Sequoias . Staff is very special. Very comfortable beds. Not fancy just perfect for the surrounding beauty. Only problem we had was that we didn't book a long enough stay at this place.

We stayed in lodge #125, which is a corner unit on the 1st floor. It was incredibly dusty and worn. We could hear the tenants walking around on the floor above us...just normal walking, but it sounded like they might fall through the floor. Overnight we woke up gasping for air, as the dust took it's toll on us. It... More
