Our annual week at Montecito is the highlight of our summer! After 7 years, we keep coming back, and we hope one day to be lucky enough to have grandkids just so we have an excuse to keep coming. The natural beauty is serene and spectacular, and the culture created by the exceptional staff and embraced by the guests maintains... More

My family just returned from an amazing week at Montecito. We can't say enough positive things about this special place. It was friendly, unpretentious and just what my family needed. My 5 year old loved his counselor Trike. We had soooo much fun at trivia night and the dance party. We made many friends we hope to see next year.... More

Making family memories! What a great place for families! This was our third family vacation at the Lodge. Something for everyone. Great camp counselors for every age group (best for 5 and up). Rustic (not the 4 Seasons) but you are at "Camp". Arts & Crafts, a lake, canoeing, pool, spa, activities, activities, activities! And the food... it's all included... More

Rooms were nice but place is really geared for kids---internet in lobby---buffet style food--ok ---adequate--no games---people were not overly freindly and when showed up told to come back--when got back at 330 registration person was asking us to wait and lady behind him said why room is ready--will not go back

Our family spent our fourth annual family camp at Montecito this past week. It was another absolutely wonderful family vacation - kids were kept active and busy all day by a tribe of young, fun, dynamic counselors (archery, riflery, arts and crafts, photography, swimming, horse riding, hiking, biking, etc.) while parents relax, join in activities or just do whatever. Everyone... More

The grandchildren, ages 4-14 were active every day swimming, hiking, fencing, archery, target shooting, sailing, canoeing, horseback riding, playing tennis .... and the list goes on. The counselors were fantastic. Almost one counselor for every two kids. The food was great as well as the... More

My partner and I happened upon this diamond in Sequoia National Park, the lodge has an all inclusive deal which included breakfast andd dinner. The entire staff was excellent starting from Scott at checkin. The forest cabin itself is like your very own cottage at the edge of the forest, it was comfortable and very tranquil not to mention beautiful.... More
