Accommodation was excellent in the very new family lodges. Large downstairs area with double bed and double bunk bed upstairs. I found the lodge even better than their website described. There is no oven or cooker so it is not really a self catering lodge but included are meals in the main building. The buffet food was excellent far exceeding... More

I made a reservation to stay here for me and my 12 year-old son, thinking it sounded like a fun place -- a place known mainly as a family camp, lots of activities, a relaxing, rustic getaway. I was surprised that the price for the Lodge was, with taxes, $270. But I made reservations on short notice, so Wuksachi and... More

Our family just came back from a week at family camp here and it was great. This was our fifth consecutive year. SOOO fun! It's everything you want from camp-great counselors, friendly people, fun activities in a gorgeous setting. My now 8 year old is always engaged in something and having a fabulous time. It's not a Ritz Carlton but... More

Was lucky to find a room here last minute.Very nice place in the woods. Check in was smooth. The room was clean and spacious. Although missing AC and fridge. Was sort of hot. Used the fridge at the front desk for storing foods. King size beds with 2 sets of bunk beds. Good for 6 people. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, table... More

Ukulele, who would have thought I would begin music lessons in the mountains. Instructor was kind, relaxed and accomplished. Much like the entire experience, all the had work they do is evident. My teenage son is in the KILT program, learning to socialize with all ages, team work, I watched him with children and was proud...this is an experience he... More

13 years, and already signed up for next year. This family camp has become part of my family. The staff, counselors and kids that make this place run, as well as the campers that come back every year have become part of my family, and I look forward to seeing them each summer. 51 weeks to go.....

Montecito Sequoia is a wonderful place. It's fantastic four families with children of any age. The counselors for any age group are very well trained and take care of overseeing children while adults can do activities of their own. From lake activities such as rowing, swimming, paddle boarding to horseback riding, to archery, to hiking, to music lessons, to crafts,... More

My family (Grandma, my husband, myself and our three kids (13,13,14) attended week #2 of family camp June 2015. We had a great two bedroom suite in the Lakeview Lodge. The room is not luxurious but comfortable, spacious, clean and overlooked the beautiful lake. There were ceiling fans, dressers and closets in each room. One room had 2 sets of bunkbeds... More

Our annual week at Montecito is the highlight of our summer! We just returned from our 8th visit, which is the best endorsement we can offer. The natural beauty is serene and spectacular, and the culture created by the exceptional staff and embraced by the guests maintains a tradition of adventure, magical fun, and childlike appreciation for life. It is... More
