Please be aware that the road to the resort is very dangerous. After going only 4 miles of the 21 mile trip we didn't want to die and turned around. The road has many blind corners, is very narrow, and parts of it is even washed away. There were many times we were literally on the edge of a cliff.... More

I have never written a review for anything, but I felt compelled to do so for this resort because I wish I would have had a detailed a realistic picture of how difficult it is to go to this resort and how poor they handle their customers especially when it comes to their refund policy. The road up to the... More

Florence Peak was a great place to gather. All 12 of us fit at the table. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a large porch and a playground. This would be a good place for family reunions, as well as groups such as ours.

Considering the remote location, this is definitely a five star lodging and the owners did great job with service. Very nice cabins for every taste. Instant response for every concern or question. Thank you.

The website for this "resort" is a complete fabrication. The cabins are dirty, beds uncomfortable, blankets have not been washed in years. The whole place feels like a prison, not a resort. The restaurant is a joke.Stay away.

I am resubmitting a review after management of the place responded to my last one. T.A. does not let you edit or reply so I am redoing: The manager mentions "...complaining and writing poor reviews, 56 negative 32 terrible". That is out of 96 total. Note I do give negative reviews when I face price gouging (as was the case... More

Silver City is an old settlement up a long and winding side road in the National park. Its worth the trip, however. The cabins are in a beautiful secluded spot and there is excellent hiking nearby, particularly from the Mineral King trail head which is about 3 miles up to the very end of the road. Highly recommended. If you... More

Silver City Resort is a great place to stay if you are a fly fisher. The food is great and DO NOT forget to eat a piece of pie, the pie is better than Mom's pie. I stayed in the Florence Peak "cabin" and if you think you may be ruffling you will be mistaken. You will have everything from... More

The Mineral King Valley is one of the most beautiful and secluded places I've ever seen. The Swiss Chalet cabins at Silver city are clean, cozy (but not small), and welcoming. And they have bathrooms! We've stayed in three different cabins over the years, and they're all homey and comfortable. You absolutely cannot beat the views! Porch swings, fire pits,... More

My husband, son(8), daughter (7) and I just returned from our seven-night long vacation at Silver City Mountain Resort and loved it so much that we are already planning on returning within the year. We stayed in one of the Family Cabins, Sunny Point and the cabin was exactly as the Resort described it to be on their website... there... More
