What a lovely place! We enjoyed our stay in Forest Glen cabin very much. The kind and courteous personnel in the store was very helpful and their pie with a generous serving of ice cream was amazingly delicious. Not mentioning that the Silver City Resort is less than 10 minutes away from the trailheads to some of the most spectacular... More

We LOVED this place but it is not for everyone. We stayed in one of the historic cabins (with 'historic' meaning old); no electricity, an old gas stove, hand made kitchen cabinets, no insulation (you can see slivers of daylight through the walls), a fire pit and big deck with chairs and a table. Oh, and a cute little mouse... More

Horrified to find we were invaded by bed bugs and resorted to sleeping on towels on the floor which quite frankly was more comfortable than the mattress. The bed linens was filthy the shared bathroom facilities were disgusting. We left the next morning after an uncomfortable night. We moved to re LUXURY of a 1 star motel in 3 Rivers!... More

My family and I recently returned from this "resort." It's not a resort, it's a dump. The rooms and bedding are filthy, the food in the restaurant is inedible, and the staff really are incompetent. To make matters worse, getting there involves taking your life into your own hands on a perilous one way mountain road where death lurks around... More

We stayed in Saw tooth for only 2 nights and wish we had stayed a week. Bring your provisions, wend your way by car for 90 minutes by road and enjoy the glorious isolation but great hospitality and do not forget to get some pie!

This place is the real deal. No electricity, old school cabins and a walk to the rest rooms. If you love being out in real nature, welcome simplicity and want to see stars and wildlife this place is for you! The word 'resort' is probably confusing-- these are simple lodgings-- if you expect luxury this isn't your place. Read the... More

In such a beautiful setting, we enjoyed a very relaxed atmosphere because of the gracious hospitality extended to us by the staff. Everything about Silver City from the delicious breakfast and dinner we had to the cleanliness and quality of the cabin (Shooting Star) contributed to an experience that left us wanting to return as soon as possible. We look... More

Florence Peak was a great place to gather. All 12 of us fit at the table. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a large porch and a playground. This would be a good place for family reunions, as well as groups such as ours.

Considering the remote location, this is definitely a five star lodging and the owners did great job with service. Very nice cabins for every taste. Instant response for every concern or question. Thank you.

The website for this "resort" is a complete fabrication. The cabins are dirty, beds uncomfortable, blankets have not been washed in years. The whole place feels like a prison, not a resort. The restaurant is a joke.Stay away.
