Accommodations were great! and the staff was terrific! The food and retail outlets were well stocked, and the restaurant was good. A little pricey for the faire, but good. The cabins were cozy and made you feel relaxed and comfortable. You definitely feel like you are in the mountains here.

I don't think I can go back to tent camping after this. Make sure you book early, it gets filled quickly. You can bring your portable propane stove or an electric griddle. Just make sure you clean it every night (you don't want to attract any animals). This was the most relaxing camping we ever had.

Accommodations were just what the doctor ordered after a hard week of tent camping. Wood burning stove and comfortable bed made was the perfect way to spend our last night in California. Most of the amenities of a hotel (minus your own bathroom) and you don't have to leave the park.

It was great - we stayed in the tent cabins and I was pleasantly surprised. We arrived at night, but someone was there for help us check-in. Also the Grant Grove village has everything you need. Just make sure you get there during the day. Bring your own fire wood if you are late.

Stayed in a cabin near the lodge. The wood-burning stove is really versatile for cooking in and on top of. Lots of pine cones, twigs, and sticks around to fuel it. Ended up not using our camp stove, though we did use an electric kettle for boiling water quickly. Breakfast at the restaurant was decent, a large country breakfast buffet.... More

We would definitely return here to spend more time. The landscape was unforgettable and the property was well worth the drive to get to even though it took us longer than planned. Make sure to go all the way into the canyon for the entire experience.

This is such an incredible setting that the quality of the tent cabins hardly matters. We shared a very rustic space with my son and daughter-in-law and "made do". We saw ringtails, racoons, fox and deer. It was wonderful!

First time to be in a cabin. It is better than I expected. Room is enough for a family of three or four. Clean. Quiet in the evening. Rest room and shower are nearby. Shower is not free, 4 quarters for 3 minutes, but it is more of 5 or 6 minutes.

The Grant Grove Tent Cabins are an excellent compromise between a standard ground tent and a motel-like room. The price is fair for the location. The cabins are located near a half-dozen trailheads with a variety of types and lengths of trails. It is a one-hour drive to the Giant Forest in Sequoia NP where the best Sequoia groves are... More

Great location, facilities and friendly staff. It;s a great place to stay for visits to Kings Canyon and Sequoia. It's right in the between the cross road to two parks, so you don;t need to go back and forth during the visit. The room I had is very cozy with outdoor patio. You will enjoy.
