I would highly recommend this property. They do a great considering its remote location, the room was large, very clean and comfortable. We ate breakfast and dinner at the lodge, there aren't any other choices unless you want to drive down the mountain. I thought they did a great job with the food since its so far away from a... This is not a "lodge" but rather a standard hotel, without the continental breakfast. We have stayed at the Old Faithful Inn...now THATS a lodge. Anyway, for $225 per night it was a big dissapointment. We knew about the road construction, but no one told us that we could only drive out of the Lodge every hour ON the hour...meaning... More

I spent 3 nights at Wuksachi in Feb, 2011. There was 72" of snow but the roads were clear and dry and the daytime temperature was in the 30s. The lodge is only 10 years old so everything seems fresh and almost new. My room was spacious with a fridge and leather sofa. The food in the restaurant is delicious... More

Located about a 20-30 minute drive beyond the park entrance, this is the nicest and most convenient place to stay if you want to spend time in Sequoia National Park (but don't want to camp) While the name "Lodge" may conjure up a different vision, the Wuksachi Lodge is a cluster of newer buildings with motel style rooms. A short... More

We've stayed in a lot of NP lodges, and at Wuksachi several times. Some NP accomodations are older and quite spartan; others, like Wuksachi, are a bit more modern. While not luxurious, Wuksachi is on par with a really good motel: clean, nicely-sized, attractively-decorated rooms with comfortable beds. The main lodge building, which houses the restaurant, gift shop and a... More

The rooms are simple and have only the basic ; small refrigerator and small place for the lugagge, but fortunately they have soda machines and ice machines in each level. The bathroom is small. The park is lovely full of snow. It is fantastic to arrive at night and see the contrast between the white snow and the darkness of... More

We stayed at the Wuksachi Lodge & Village as a side trip along the California coast. Check-in was easy with no issues. Although it was April, there was still lots of snow on the ground and the lodge was warm and welcoming with a little store attached. Rooms show their age for the location and are commensurate for the rate.... More

We came to this part of California to experience some of the state's magestic beauty. Our stay at Wuksachi Lodge gave us this opportunity, but also added to our great memories of our time spent in the National parks area. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and even though there is a slight hike from the car park to the... More

Great location in the heart of the forest. Good food and nice ambience. On the main road through S&KC so you see General Sherman and General Grant with ease - and they are very worthwhile.

We stayed in the lodge as the area has a health bear population and I for one am not that brave! Warnings about emptying your car on arrival etc were clearly given by staff so we opted for the comfort of the Lodge! It was a handy spot, although a long way into the park at a lofty elevation of...
