We found the rooms to be a good size and comfortable, they were also very quiet, maybe something to do with people being so tired after long days hiking. It's a 5 minute walk down to the main building to the dining room, make sure you take a flashlight for walking back on a night, it was very dark. There... More

This place offers standard rooms in a great location and it is just fine if your expectations aren't too high. One problem: In the parking lot there should be a big sign warning not to take bags to registration because the rooms (not visible from the parking lot) are not in the building where reception is located.

This was our first trip to Sequoia NP and it is beautiful. A lot less crowded than Yosemite. We stayed at the Wuksachi Lodge which is very pleasant. The accomodation is a good distance from the central block and would recommend you ask for bell assistance with luggage if you are in any way infirm. They will do this willingly. The... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wuksachi Lodge while visiting Sequoia NP in September 2011: Very friendly reception, you can drive or walk from the main building to the 3 buildings, luggage assistance is available, rooms are big, nice, clean and offer a nice view. Restaurant in the main building offers good food for dinner and breakfast. Service is... More

Stayed here for two nights in early October and came away feeling we could not have done better. It's located right inside Sequoia National Park and is the ideal place to see the giant trees and to soak up the wonderful atmosphere of this special place. It's not cheap, but it's a price you pay for the location. The accommodation... More

This is a modern lodge (built in 1999), not one of the classic National Park Lodges. It was clean and well maintained. Parking is a few hundred feet from the rooms. The rooms were spacious and included a coffee maker and small refrigerator. The onsite restaurant was average quality but overpriced. The wait staff in the restaurant were not helpful... More

Our backpacking trip was cut short by snow, so we found refuge in this hotel. I thought the room was beautiful and clean, with good beds and bathroom. It even had a bathtub, which I needed after a day of hiking. We ended up staying for three nights, even though the price was high for us (snow does that to... More

If you go to a National Park looking for first class amenities, perhaps you should not be going to a national park. The room was very comfortable and clean and modern, it was a distance from the main lodge building but the walk was pleasant, I may have felt differently if the weather had not been so nice. During our... More

Much better than we expected for a national park lodge. Location within in the park was perfect! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. A lodge car met us in the parking lot and brought our luggage, and us, up to the building in which we were staying. The room was comfortable and clean. The refrigerator was an added bonus! We... ...are the only words close enough to describe the location. The lodge is right smack inside Sequoia National Park and just 20 minutes drive from the General Sherman Tree. The main lodge - where the front desk and restaurant are - is rustic and very well kept although the lodge where the rooms were located could use a little sprucing... More
