DATES of OCCUPANCY June 18th thru June 25th 2011 ACCESSIBILITY Location - Wuksachi Lodge is located within Sequoia National Park. It is a beautiful location no matter where you look. The lodge has many hiking paths around the area, with park benches conveniently located along many of these paths. Wildlife - Lots of squirrels, birds and deer. The deer can... More

Originally we planned on camping at lodgepole but that was cancelled due to the snow pack in the campsites. We stayed here for two nights and then our 3rd night we stayed in Three Rivers, just outside the park. We loved it here, the staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice and spacious. We stayed in a... More

Our expectations were worse (based on some reviews), but we were pleasantly surprised. The walk from the main lodge building to the rooms was not nearly as bad as I envisioned since we have no problem walking. Perhaps they have luggage valet service for those who need it. Our room was spacious with a nice mountain view, typical national park... More

We stayed at the Wuksachi during spring break, 2011. Our room was clean, spacious, and was a good value. The bathrooms were clean and roomy. Only three complaints/suggestions: needs better lighting in the rooms, noise reduction (we could hear people above us), and answer the phones! (We called the front desk for dinner reservations, and got no answer for over... More

I was dreadfully disappointed in the lodge. It's misleading to say "Wuksachi Lodge and Village" because there is no village. It's isolated with nothing else in sight or within walking distance. You drive up to see a little building, but soon learn that the hotel rooms are a short drive uphill. There is nothing else there to do except eat... More

My husband and I took our 2 granddaughters to visit Sequoia National Park and stayed here the night of May 31, 2011. The room was great, nice and roomy. Everything was clean. The people at the front desk for check in and check out were really nice. We had lunch in the dinning room, and our waitress was wonderful. I... More

The lodge was just enough rustic to belong in a national park. The room was very clean and comfortable, without being fancy like a city hotel. The room was in a building separate from the main lodge, which contained the restaurant and a small gift shop. The walk between the buildings was only about 2-3 min and the scenery was... More

This hotel is the perfect locale for everything in Sequoia. Most of the main attractions, Moro Rock, General Sherman, General Grant Trail, Crescent Meadow Loop, Crystal Cave, etc are all within a short drive. The hotel is very clean with a friendly staff. The room was of average size with nice amenities. The Hotel itself is on a large property... More

We stayed in Wuksachi Lodge June 5 and were shocked to wake up to 4 inches of snow on the ground. Our Corvette was not prepared for that! Luckily, by the time we had breakfast and got out, the roads were quite passable. However, due to the fog and clouds as well, we cancelled our plans to see Kings Canyon... More

This place was an excellent location inside the park. Loved the spacious comfy room with great view of trees and snow covered meadow!
