Given its location in the center of the park, I expected this hotel to be much more expensive, but in late April, I found a room for about $120/night. While not fancy, the room itself was relatively new, and the bathroom had been recently upgraded. Everything was clean and comfortable, which to me is the most important thing. It was... More

This hotel is up on a hill in the woods in Sequoia. It's not close to the giant sequoias, but a picturesque setting none the less. The service was good. We arrived a night early because the weather was poor for camping and they found us a room. They didn't have our original room available, but they had a mountain... More

My husband and I stayed one night at Wuksachi with our two young children the night before we visited Sequoia National Park. The giant trees were impressive but I was truly amazed (disgusted, really) at the GIANT ANTS all over our $200+ per night hotel room. At first, we only saw a few of the ants, but the problem grew... We stayed for one night in May and, given the El Niño year, were surrounded with snow! This actually made the experience that much more picturesque and cozy, in my family's opinion. The room was nice and well-kept, though perhaps not quite worth the one-night cost. Given the location of the lodge, though, it is easy to justify that cost.... More

They have you on location and they know it. There is nothing else reasonable anywhere close to the Sequoia Park activities. The lodge is really just a cheap hotel, pretty standard accommodations for a national park. It would have been fine if the prices for a room hadn't been so high. The prices for food in the restaurant were more... More

Couldn't ask for a better location. Tremendous value with a great restaurant and helpful, friendly staff. Almost the only game in town and they could charge much more than they do based on convenience. Yes, it's basic, but clean and comfortable with spectacular views.

It's an excellent hotel for a National Park (one of the best we stayed over the years). Our family of 4 had a suite with plenty of room. It's still pretty new and even smells fresh. Room service was good (exchange students were working at the time) and everything was clean, comfortable. Fridge, coffe maker (although I wish they had... More

My family and I stayed here and loved having a very comfortable, clean place to make a home base. The service at he lodge was great. We were helped with by the same people for three days and they always made us feel welcomed. I will stay here again with my family.

The drive up is a little scary, make sure you are prepared to use chains. Recommend taking snacks and drinks to the room, cause once you get there you're not leaving. The staff and the restaurant had excellent service and very friendly. The views are breathtaking. Highly recommend.
