We found the rooms nicely appointed, for park lodging. Was the first time we'd had a fridge in national park lodging. The rooms do have TV's and a phone - neither of which was desired for a park - but I understand for some that's nice to have. Spacious rooms with a ceiling fan and window fan. Plenty of counter... The Wuksachi Lodge is our favorite place to stay in Sequoia National Park! The facilities and staff are wonderful. The room accommodations are very comfortable. We look forward to our next family visit.

The location is within the park, and I paid what I considered to be a premium rate for my one nights stay with my family. So, the room. Ok, but was a bit of a hike from the lobby. And, when it was dark was poorly lit. The lock on the door required some training to get it to work... More

When reviewing the trip advisor website and also the official hotel website I was assured a free wifi service. I fully understand most hotel wifi is not very fast however I would have liked to use wifi to browse the internet during my stay. Since the individual hotel blocks are separated out I could receive no wifi connection in my... More

Firstly, note that this is a concessionaire-operated property within a national park—manage your expectations accordingly. Our expectations were exceeded. Rooms are large, appointed in a utilitarian fashion, and clean. Our deluxe room did have an air conditioning unit (in our view, it is unnecessary), and a mini-fridge. Linens and amenities were of reasonable quality. Lamps and lighting are average, and... More

Excellent time in Sequoia and at Wuksachi. I would definitely go back. The room was great. We had a suite for a family of 4. Wifi in the lodge could be better but it makes it easy to disconnect if you want. We were overcharged for breakfast twice when we got continental but the staff fixed it.

I was with my family in the lodge during August. The resort are not bad, even if the rooms has no air conditioning. The hot must be defeat with a very noise fan. The shower doesn't work well. The receptionists are not very quickly and it take very long time to do everything. We asked for some information about sequoia... More

Our first visit to Sequoia in your typical National Parks' lodger. Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, perfect location, astonishing views. Rooms were big, TV channels had plenty to keep the kids happy. Small bar in the lodge was welcome after hikes and hot days. We ate down the road at the Watchtower Deli as we had read the mixed reviews about... More

The location is indeed wonderful and, even if the rooms are a bit poor for a four stars hotel at the end you do not care The real problem is how the hotel is run by the staff. We have been here also last year and the situation is much worse... Nobody knows anything, the rooms are not properly cleaned,... More

Having stayed in deluxe rooms it may give a slightly skewed perspective for some. The rooms were good with large comfy beds and a small seating area... Whilst they don't have air conditioning the ceiling fan and window fans suffice as the climate at the time of visit the temperature ranged from 70 - 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The location is... More
