The lodge was a great place to stay close to the giant Sequoias and most of the trails we wanted to see. We even saw a bear just outside the lodge! The gift shop was the best around. The view of the stars was incredible.

Excellent location in the heart of Sequoia National Park, outstanding restaurant, friendly staff, service was great. Recommended for those who want a central location to explore the park. Only place around that has a restaurant and it is really good. We'd return again.

Sequoia and King's Canyon are very special places, but not easy places to get to. So if you are going to go, then a nice place to stay is a bonus. Yes, you can camp, or stay outside the park, and drive 30-40 miles of winding mountain roads each day. Or you can stay in the middle of it all... More

Wuksachi Lodge was the perfect place for us to explore Sequoia National Park. The main registration and dining building is on one side of the drive, and 3 three-story buildings are across the road. The entrance level of the guest buildings is on the second floor. First floor rooms are down 1 flight of stairs; third floor rooms are up... More

Lodge has monopoly on providing lodging in Sequoia -standards compromised as a result. Main lodge fine but bedrooms are grim, decorated in a full range of browns, with ours having torn bed linen, faulty coffee maker, badly lit bathroom and a death trap of a bath mat. Restaurant food and staff good and barman very accomodating but front desk staff... More

The lodge rooms are a good size with a fridge and TV. We couldn’t get a cell phone signal (no loss, though) and the Wi-Fi was poor – but when you’re in such a remote area this is to be expected - you come here for the scenery and wildlife. Great see deer, ground squirrels and more in the grounds,... More

if you stay in the lodge, everything will be great including the wifi otherwise the distance between the 3 other buildings and the lodge is something (rain, cold,...), the access from the parking to the 3 buildings to be considered and wifi not working there! for the food: it's actually quite good and we'll done (except as usual the medium... Room 208. Shower curtain full of mold, stains on floor, and the comforters were stained and smelled awful. And this was a "superior" room that we reserved. The main lodge itself was very nice, though -- the restaurant had good food and service, and the surroundings were beautiful. I'd just recommend NOT staying overnight.

This was our first trip to Sequoia National Park and we spent two nights in Wuksachi Lodge. One you make the winding, beautiful drive up there – it’s definitely worth the visit. Make sure you stop at a grocery store before entering the park to stock up on any food items you may want because once you enter the park,... More

Great location to stay. Reasonable price. Great food. Book early for your trip. The breakfast option is a must have. Very clean room. You might have to carry your own luggage to the room. With kids, this might be difficult.
