We stayed here for 1 night on a California road trip to catch the Sequoias. It was a nice hotel. The biggest inconvenience for travelers is going to be the lack of elevators in the hotel buildings. They also have these crazy low flow toilet pumps that could not flush a single tissue...So you might find it a better option... More

The location in Sequoia national park is just supreme. As close as you can get to many of the main attractions. The layout is also nice with a main building with reception and restaurant and "lodges" which house the rooms. Ok but very loud restaurant. The rooms have no lodge feeling to them at all. Worn down wall to wall... More

My husband and I and our teenage granddaughter stayed at the Wuksachi for one night. The room with 2 queen beds, was clean and comfortable. There was some noise of people wheeling luggage to their rooms but that stopped before bedtime. We had dinner at the Lodge restaurant, which only takes reservations for parties of 7 or more. Our wait... More

Clean comfortable lodge with quaint rooms. Ample parking at lodging buildings. A bit of a walk to the parking lot to your room. Lodge has some programs for guests, be careful to read the calendar carefully as some events may only be at the partner lodge that evening. Restaurant is good, with wide selection and not overly pricey.

This place was a "true" lodge! Rocking chairs on the big front porch, massive timbers throughout. The giftshop offers items that represent the area. You can even get a small Sequoia to take home with you. A great reminder of your vacation here. Wonderful accommodations, great views! The staff are very knowledgeable about the area and its history. If you're... More

We stayed at the Superior Room -- surprisingly comfortable king size bed with two sofa beds! Very spacious, and the addition of providing shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom is so useful -- nice touch! WiFi is a bit slow, but it encouraged us to enjoy the nature life.

My husband and I spent 5 nights in a king deluxe room. It was a very nice room and was large with plenty of space. The room was clean when we checked in, and was refreshed each evening when we returned. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of counter space, the shower was spacious, and the towels... More

We stayed here for two nights and had a very comfortable experience. The rooms are a little tired and perhaps could do with a bit of updating however they were clean and comfortable. I would advise bringing a few supplies with you however as there isn't a shop onsite (although there is one in the village a couple of miles... More

Large clean rooms in a beautiful spot, but no Wifi in the rooms. Unfortunately this was ruined by an extremely poor restaurant. They have a captive audience and appear not to care about what they serve or customer service. They do not have a reservation system for dinner for parties of less than 8 which meant coach parties dominated the... More

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. The food in the restaurant was high quality. The rooms was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the short walk from the main lodge to our building under the night sky...some of the most brilliant stars we have ever seen!
