We used this hotel as our base for 2 nights in Kings Canyon and Sequoia and were very pleased with our choice. After a long drive we felt relaxed as soon as we drove onto the grounds and entered the attractive reception area. Rooms are in three buildings, a bit of a walk away from main building and carparks, but... More

We have stayed in quite a few lodges within national parks. This is a very new lodge and is very nice. We stayed in one of the superior rooms which have a separate sitting area. The rooms are decorated quite nicely and are very clean and well maintained. There is no air conditioning, but with the cool nights, at the... More

You can't ask for more beautiful surroundings & the room was clean & comfortable. The downside was that they had fans in the windows to bring fresh air in but they had placed an ash tray within 50 feet of our window & we could smell the smoke. There was no air conditioner to cool the room when the fan... More

Our stay was simply wonderful. It went by so fast that weren't able to take advantage of all of the out door adventures. Everyone was satisfied with the service, rooms & nature. If you have the opportunity to go don't pass it up!

Perfect location to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The nature and wildlife is totally awesome. I love this location. Definitely come back someday. Only the WiFi is very slow and there is no signal on the phone so expect no working Internet.

We just spent one night at the Wuksachi Loge but we really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and we had our room in the Sequoia Building. Room was spacious and clean with views right into the woods. We had a quiet good nights sleep and in the early morning you can hear the birds tweeting around. There is plenty of... More

The Wuksachi Lodge starts with a warm check-in by friendly staff. The location is amazing--- wake up in the morning and see a small group of deer grazing outside our window! After a day of seeing the giant sequoias and hiking, come back for a comfortable dinner at the lodge's great dining room --- where the staff is gracious and... More

The lodge is really great for touring the Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon, however, we were really disappointed with the fact that you don't actually stay in the lodge itself, this is only the reception and restaurant. The accommodation is in three large ugly blocks a long way from the lodge itself. They really should mention this when you... More

Thank for sharing your comments regarding your recent stay at the lodge. We are pleased to read that the location was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. The lodge was designed to blend in with the natural settings and allow the guest to stroll the grounds and take in the views. My apology, that you were not fond... More

There aren't other options to stay in Sequoia so obviously the hotel is overpricing its customers. Rooms are basic and comfortable but you'd expect a lot more for the price. Bed was comfy, room was equipped with TV and AC. Staff was friendly.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Glad to hear that the staff was friendly and the room was comfy. Our pricing is regulated by the National Park Service and hope that you felt that there was value staying in the park itself. All the best, Brandy Frederich, Assistant General Manager, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. More

Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park is a relatively recent development. It is neat, appealing and handsome, but with little real charm or character. Rooms are fine, if not fancy, and hotel staff are competent and mostly friendly. The lodge restaurant is good and surprisingly affordable given the lack of nearby alternatives. The real draw is the stunningly gorgeous park... More
