This Park is admittedly expensive because of it's location to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park Colorado. Elk Mountain has everything you would be looking for especially for big Rigs. It's well run with a friendly group of employees that are willing to assist anyway they can. The Drawbacks thou take away from these two very good attributes. The... More

Stayed here with the family in August for vacation- 2 nights. Location is right outside Rocky Mountain National Park. Tent site had a picnic table & fire pit which was a plus. We made s'mores one night. Clean bathrooms & showers but sometimes there is a wait. Overnight we heard the elk bugling and the baby bears playing around. The... More

Yes it's a bit pricy for a rv park/campground. But our stay was great! No problems at all. Everyone at the front desk and in the golf carts were extremely helpful and nice. A fun and very safe place for the family! Close to the town and rmnp. Didn't use the pool but heard it was ice cold. Hit tubs,... More

This campsite is near the town of Estes and very close to the east entrance of the Rocky Mountain national Park. Sadly it is so overpriced, $58 including Good Sams discount PN, we were told the price is high season price but the campsite was half empty for most of our stay The sites are on a hill which is... Really enjoy every time I've been there. The site is convenient and is well-maintained. I love their lodge. They have music in the evenings in the lodge, which I always look forward to. There is some very interesting history to the lodge and the bar as well ... so be sure to ask the bartender about it. One of my... More

This is a good campground over all. Probably a little bit more pricey for what is offered but quiet and the staff was very nice. Be sure to look at the map of the RV spots before booking. Ask for a space that your sewer line is going downhill and not up hill ~ bad design on some. Basic plumbing... More

When we made our reservation, we were told that there were grassy sites. The actual campground is a large field that has no trees, no shrubs and basically no grass, just some weeds. There are a lot of holes around the sites so you have to watch where you walk. The hole near our site looked like a possible snake... More

Thank you for your feed back about our park. We really appreciate hearing from our guests about their experiences. We are a park in the mountains and it does get dusty here. We also do have high winds that are out of our control. We're very sorry there were high winds during your stay and hope you understand that certain... More

First thing is that you cannot beat the view of the Rocky Mountain National Park and just a short distance down the road to get to it, other than that I would never go back there multiple reasons: 1st Gravel roads and if you like dust in your food, RV, tents, cars and everything else then you would love the... First off thank you for your input. We do value what our guests have to say about our park. In response to your review we are aware of the dust and with all the traffic it's hard to avoid. The WiFi is a challenge for large parks like ours. It's hard to get coverage in the mountains and our service... More

We had to cancel our stay two months in advance and they show online loss of deposit. True but what they don't mention is tax, extra fee for another person, extra fee for hook-ups is also lost. We ended up losing 80.00 bucks for canceling two months in advance for a 110.00 stay. Tough to do business with folks that... More

The good is the location, can't be beat for visting Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park. The bad - First, rates but its competitive in the area, especially when you consider the location thing - how much is KOA on the east side of town or Yogi Bear much farther out? Then there is maintenance, specifics of which have... More
