What a great campground just inside the Park entrance to Hurricane Ridge. Quiet, but fills up fast. No hook ups, mostly spots for tent camping, but some small trailer/camper spots too. Firewood is available. Bathrooms, but no showers.

We stayed here for one night. It was very quiet and very nice. The bathrooms were clean and easy to get to. The night sky is amazing here, tons of stars, it is very dark. The campground was close to the entrance and close to many trailheads. I would stay again.

This campground is located at the base of Hurricane Ridge. It is a great spot to spend a night or two if you are planning to do some hikes around the Hurricane Ridge area. The spots were a little bit on top of each other, but the way they were arranged made them seem a little more private. There are... More

Just stayed end of july 2014, campsites where clean and plenty to choose from with shade and good tent sites and some pull throughs for campers. There are restrooms but no showers but hey its camping also potable water and food lockers available. Very quiet nights but does get busy on weekends, best time to stay in my opinion is during... This is the closest campground to Hurricane Ridge and very close to Port Angeles, so you can drive into town for dinner (LD's Wood Fire Grill restaurant - a wonderful fine dining experience in a casual atmosphere - get a table outside by the fireplace), coffee/breakfast, to the Wine on the Waterfront winebar, or get some more groceries. If you... More

We stayed at Heart O' Hills for three nights (Thus-Sat) in July. When we arrived, the place was quiet and calm -- sites are well shaded and we had high hopes for this campground but it soon became much busier as the weekend crowds arrived. The camp host told us that the campground normally doesn't fill except for summer weekends.... More

Just stayed there, wooded sites some more some less private, very clean washrooms, no showers. Very affordable and nice place to stay. Close to Hurricane Ridge. Would stay there again - hope soon! When we stayed everybody respected the night sleep of others - there was no noise, just quiet and peace. There is a trail starting next to the... More

I'd go between average and very good. We came here Memorial weekend to camp. We got rained out but it's often rainy in this area. Some areas of the campground are quite scenic and others are not. The campground is not far from Hurricane Ridge. Bathrooms were clean. $12/night I believe so it's very affordable. No showers.

120+ campsites in 5 loops, 5 miles from ONP Visitor Center at Port Angeles, and 12 miles from Hurricane Ridge. Camp sites are mostly private, with bathrooms, garbage disposal & drinkable water in reasonable walking distance. The morning & evening ranger programs are a blast, especially for kids. Ideal base camp to explore the park from the North side, and... More

Large campground with numerous sites for tent/rv camping. Some heavily wooded sites and others with thinner trees for more sunshine. Nice ranger led campfire talks. Location is about 5 miles from Port Angeles where you can pickup food, firewood, clothes, etc. Just across campground and near entrance station are two trail heads which you can take up to Hurricane Ridge...
