We have been coming here for years . There is no one to control this area . There was tents set up at least 3 or 4 during our stay .When we asked at the front desk where you register if there was tents allowed the answer was "absolutely not " . There is no cell phone , Wi Fi... More

Olympic Park is an amazing place and being there was great. Unfortunately, the RV campground at Sol Duc Springs was not. -The campground is nothing more than a gravel parking lot. No privacy and no shade. We never saw the camp host and there was no supervision. We actually had to leave one day early due to a noisy and... More

This is not your typical RV park. It is basically a big gravel parking lot with RV spot along both sides. One side is for 26' and under and in the sun most of the day. The other side is for larger rigs and in the shade most of the day. It just has electricity and water hook ups, no... More

What's great about this campground is that you are miles away from civilization but close enough to a hot spring resort. There are plenty of trails around for a day hike or an over night backpacking trip. Sol Duc waterfall is also nearby. The campground itself is clean with washing facilities. The sites aren't as secluded as one would like.... More

16 "reach out and touch" your neighbors' campers parking spots; 8 each side of the gravel lot. No sewer hookup; electric and water only. Stayed 3 nights. Glimpsed camp "host" once - leaving - no host was in attendance during our stay. Tents set up despite the No Tents sign was the least bothersome. Worst: two Aramark resort employees live... More

Very nice campground, very quiet, beautiful trees and very nice hiking, but it would be nice to have a shower. The shower at the hot springs is a community shower. The hot springs smell like rotten eggs, but it was great soaking in the hot pools and then get into the cold pool for swimming. The kids loved it. The... More

Just to take note - there are no reservations at this camground. If you want to get a site, arrive early in the day before 2pm or else on busy weekends the campground will be full. We arrived by noon and were able to get the last 2 sites next to each other. We had a family group of 16... More

We have camped at this campground many times. Always we have slept in the van and gone to the hot pools and gone hiking during the day and to the one restaurant in the evening. If you are addicted to quiet, it is probably one of the quietest places left on earth as it is at the end of a... More

Even on the coldest, wetest day of the year Sol Duc is the place to be. Oblivious of your surroundings when you're in the pools. Last time I was there it was a torrential downpour but it didn't matter.
