Log Cabin Resort is another classic case of a resort with a fabulous location, in this case right on the shoreline of Lake Crescent inside the Olympic National Park, and with a great view of the lake and Storm King Mountain across the way. BUT: The problem with a lot of National Park owned lodging is that there is never... More

A frame chalets look much nicer online. The chalets have a nice view, but need updating, cleaning, and have plenty of spiders. The food at the little restaurant was over priced, but good. The rentals are overpriced in general. Try a lodge where you won't be surrounded by bugs!

The cabins are very sparse, We could have used a couple more bath towels. They were clean, the staff was friendly, the gift shop had one of a kind items. We did stay in cabin 1. I would avoid it, if possible because we heard the generator in the gift shop go on all night long. We had the experience,... More

We spent the weekend to get away, the scenic view is wonderful. The staff is also very friendly. But the rooms are very dated, The bathrooms in our room (1) had cracked sheet rock and really needed to be renovated and repaired. The shower floor seemed hallow, I'm assuming the floor under has begun to rot away. The main room,... More

We did not use the bathrooms here as they charge for showers but my husband went in and they appeared clean. They had laundry there as well but didnt use it. The site was the smallest of our entire trip but was easy to get into. There was a creek right behind the site which is great if you dont... More

The Log Cabin Resort is situated right on the shore of Lake Crescent. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful. You can walk right into the crystal clear water or rent a paddle boat or canoe. It is quiet and serene. Yes, the A-frame cabin we stayed in was run down, there were ants marching under the door and into the room,... More

This resort has not been updated (at all) since the 1950s, and it is getting quite run-down. All the more reason to be unhappy about the high price. The food at the lodge was really awful and also overpriced. I have never has chowder so glue-y or salad so unappetizing. But the site is absolutely beautiful. Too bad.

Too shabby for the price. A power outage the first night was no fault of this, so called resort. I am one who likes rustic and old historic lodging. Log Cabin Resort run by Aramark is neither. The draw here is the lake and the scenery, it is beautiful and our room was steps from the water. Unfortunately the A-frame... More

I have stayed in several National Park accomodations and many are old and rustic, but after reading some of the reviews I worried about the condition of the cabins at the Log Cabin Resort. I am happy to report that I was more than relieved when we arrived at the property and opened the door of our quaint little camper... More

Picture an idyllic clear lake (Lake Crescent) surrounded by mountains. At the lake's edge rests a quaint wood lodge, Log Cabin Resort, manned by cheerful, friendly staff. Scattered around the lodge are A-frame chalets and small cabins. Off to one end of the property are serviced and unserviced camp sites. The lodge dining room serves generous portions of traditional fare:... More
