Picture an idyllic clear lake (Lake Crescent) surrounded by mountains. At the lake's edge rests a quaint wood lodge, Log Cabin Resort, manned by cheerful, friendly staff. Scattered around the lodge are A-frame chalets and small cabins. Off to one end of the property are serviced and unserviced camp sites. The lodge dining room serves generous portions of traditional fare:... More

While the setting is lovely, the quality of the accommodation is poor. We paid a ridiculous amount of money for one night in a "log" cabin. Don't let the name fool you, these are nothing more than very cheaply built wooden cabins you would expect to find in the middle of nowhere where there is no road access. The cabin... More

Stayed one night in one of the rustic sleeping cabins. Resort location is excellent (fairly short drive from Port Angeles, great lake views, easy access to a number of Olympic National Park destinations), but the room, while clean and reasonably comfortable, was definitely extremely dated and offered almost no modern conveniences. Given the cost of other accommodations in/around Olympic National... More

There aren't many options for lodging on the North/West side of Olympic NP. The location is excellent, allowing you access to many attractions in the park. We came from Seattle early in the morning and visited the park for most of the day. We planned our stay at the Log Cabin Resort for one night and then we were traveling... More

Our family stayed at the RV park for the second summer for an extended stay. The area is well maintained and cared for - and the resort staff were very helpful and accommodating. When we needed to modify our reservations or make changes, they were patient, professional and friendly. We will be staying at this property again. We highly recommend... More

We stayed in one of the rooms that is attached to the main lodge building. Nothing fancy, but it was clean. The staff at the lodge building were very pleasant. The view was AMAZING! Breakfast was included in the rate, which made the price more acceptable. The breakfast was really good. There was fun lawn games and nearby trails for... More

We found Log Cabin Resort to be clean, friendly, and beautiful. We stayed in a Lakeside Chalet with 4 adults. It was comfortable, quiet and serene. We brought our kayak and launched it right at our own opening to the lake. Well, we shared the entrance with a family of ducks. The swimming was great and not as cold as... More

Stayed for two nights in mid-July. Weather was great, so was the view of the lake. Stayed in a cabin, simple, rustic, but clean and very affordable. Breakfast buffet in the AM was amazingly good, a great start to a day of hiking. Other nice amenities include a series of lawn games and Adirondack chairs for lakeside viewing and boat... More

This place was very good. It had a good food, but was a little pricey, and the view...... was... AMAZING! The lake area was nice, except for the geese scat covering the grass. (Be careful where you step) The cabin was ok..... a little dirty, a little buggy, but all around, pretty nice! I'd probably stay there again.

This location was fantastic. I think the reviews below are from People expecting 5 star accommodation. If you are looking for a great location, fantastic swimming, spectacular views and basic accommodation then this is the place for you. The accom is very basic and cost $203 per night for 3 adults in an A frame chalet. Tent camping is a... More
