Please note that these people do not really know their own policies. I called in August 08 to make reservations for the next year. I was told explicitly at that time by the gentlemen that answered the phone that they did not tae reservations for the next year till that year. So, I made note to make reservations on January... more

The setting, looking across Crescent Lake over the tall trees with the beautiful Olympic Mountains in the background is breathtaking. The lodge room we stayed in was of good size but for the price they should at least include paper towels since there is a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. Tissues would also be expected. When one is travelling a... more

This was the only accomodation available on Lake Crescent, so we took the chance. Our first view of the "sleeping cabin" was a little scarey because they are very old, vintage tourist cabins circa 1920. Everything was well-worn, but clean. We had heat, private bathroom with hot water, and a lock on the door. The longer we stayed (3 days),... more

After reading all the reviews, I was a bit worried. We booked an A frame chalet for 2 nights. When I got there, I was unsure why people were writing bad things about this place. This is not a five star hotel by any means, nor would you expect such a place in the middle of national forest/park. I did... more

The setting of Log Cabin Resort rivals that of Lake Crescent Lodge. From our "chalet" we had one of the most beautiful views in The Olympic National Park. Unfortunately, at $169 a night the A-frame "chalet" we rented was truly laughable. The main room is dominated by a clumsy staircase to a tiny loft. The beds were the most uncomfortable... more

I searched in vain for any reviews on the Log Cabin resort's "campground" before we left on our trip, but found none. So, for those of you who would like to pitch a tent on the shores of Lake Crescent, this place is NOT for you. We arrived after a long day of a ferry from British Columbia and a... more

Outside of the terrific location on Crescent Lake, there is little to recommend about the Log Cabin "Resort". The cabins, actually better described as run down, tiny shacks, that are noisy, largely because they are only feet away from the RV park with RV generators running all night. The "lodge" is essentially a run down motel with a lobby crammed... more

This was my second choice in the area based on other reviews. After staying at my first choice for 1 night and these place there is hardly a comparison. We stayed in on of the A frames. While the location is beautiful, it is off the highway quite a ways. The check-in area reminded us of something from the 50s.... more

After my husband was deployed, my girlfriend and I booked a nights stay at the Log Cabin Resort to take our minds off our men. It was absolutely perfect! It was almost deserted in March and we got the whole place to ourselves. We stayed in an A-Frame cabin right off the water that had a ll the amenities (ie.... more

When we visited beautiful Lake Crescent again we thought we remembered that this place had a lot to offer. We apparently were wrong. This is certainly a no frills kind of place! By that I mean - no coffee in the room, a meager general store and rooms and beds that need some serious updating. I found the restaurant overpriced... more
