the beds were clean, but the rest of the room was really old and rundown. stains on the futon and there is no fan or ac, so with the outside temp in the low 80, we were uncomfortable. There were several wasps in the room. Also other guests were a little unsavory, drinking beer and talking loud. View is gorgeous... More

The resort is a means to an end, lake crescent. If you have children or grandchildren this is perfect. The lake is clean and beauriful. Water sports equipment to rent. Inexpensive soft serve ice cream cones. If you are interested in an outdoor experience there are other places you can visit on the Olympic peninsula. Log cabin resort is a... More

We stayed in unit 2 of the four "lodge" rooms. They actually are just old motel rooms that are next to the gift shop/ restaurant. The backs of these four rooms face Lake Crescent, which is a very beautiful lake. The problem is that the area between the lake and your unit is a playground and the passageway from the... More

We made reservations for a Campers Cabin for 3 nights. We had a view of Lake Crescent from our window and front porch. The Continental Breakfast was certainly adequate and included protein. We could put our kayaks in the lake for morning or evening paddle. Very sunny location. Cooked our meal on the picnic table which was fine. No problems... More

We're fans of the National Parks and appreciate being able to stay right in the park boundaries. For us, being close to the park highlights and the historic feel is worth giving up some modern amenities that you can get anywhere. So we were very satisfied with the Log Cabin Resort. For our trip to Olympic National Park, we wanted... More

We've been to the log cabin resort several times (we go there about once a year). My favorite part about it is that is has something to offer to everyone -- from the camping site to RV spots to very basic cabins to their chalets which are super awesome for families. The chalet can hold up to 6 ppl and... More

Been here with family and friends to camp and boat, water activity goer should go. Its a best kept hidden secret of crescent lake sorry to the lake crescent lodge lover but that did not do justice to this place. Its so quite and serene and they have restaurant inside the main building and they have water activity rental such as... More

We had difficulty finding available rooms in the Lake Crescent area when making reservations and until the reservation person at Aramark (who manages Olympic National Park lodging) begrudgingly suggested the Log Cabin Resort. We didn't expect much. However, we were surprised and very pleased when we arrived. Our room was steps away from beautiful Lake Crescent. The environment was serene,... More

Expected a rustic resort but not dirty. Grounds were unkempt and the restaurant was dirty and tables and chairs came over on the Mayflower. Not even paper towels in the kitchen or any utensils, plastic or other. The coffee pot had coffee in the bottom of it. What a mistake we made. Only salvation was the view but even that... More

LOVED this gem of a campground at the northern edge of the park! We originally had an RV spot in Sol Duc, but quickly left there before hooking up the RV; it was NOT what we were looking for, and without Verizon service, we couldn't stay. BUT, one of the gals at the Sol Duc registration desk suggested Log Cabin... More
