Amy was the person who helped me on the phone a couple of times initially and answered all of my questions and was friendly. Kristina checked us into our room and gave us a warm welcome. Kristina also met and needs and then some when asked. It was my birthday on the night of our stay and she helped make... More

This was the second spot on the tour of the park with my husband on our honeymoons. The cabins were very cute. We actually had lunch right next to the hot springs, from their onsite side shop. We also looked at all the knick knacks in the gift shop. After we came from the hot springs, we automatically went straight to... More

This place is absolutely GORGEOUS!! BUT.... I feel that for $200 a night you're ONLY getting the view. The cabins are basic: a bed and a bathroom. The lodge has one dining area with over priced food. It is too far away to make a "run" to any sort of store... Thank goodness for the breathtaking beauty of the forest... More

Beware about booking on line for the sol duc resort. I have stayed there a few times and never experienced this before. I recently booked for this coming summer and if you book on line you will be charged 10% of your total stay. Its already a very pricey place to stay for a very basic accomodations. But to add... My family and I come to Sol Duc Hot Springs every year to relax and soak in the mineral pools and enjoy the large fresh water pool. We were definitely disappointed in the management out at the pools. I believe it was a guy who was the manager, from what we observed we left the poor lifeguard that was on... More

This is an awesome resort, that has it all. If you like woods, hiking, birdwatching, hot spring soaking, great food and service. Only stay here if you want a great experience in Olympic National Park.

After spending 5 days of camping at Mt. Rainier and Lake Merrill WA, Sol Duc was a wonderful retreat. Cabin was rustic, "cozy' and quiet. We did not have a kitchenette but there was a coffee maker in the room. We also had camping gear to make "cowboy coffee" as we love coffee! The restaurant had plenty of offerings to... More

Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort seems like a great place for families. The pools are cement and resemble regular generic hotel pools, the difference being that two of them have piped in mineral rich, untreated water from the hotsprings. Fun for an hour or two, but really it is the spot that is so incredible. You can do great short... More

I book on the specials, which are offered Spring and Fall. Setting is rustic and that's what I would expect in a smaller National Park resort. For what this resort has to offer, I don't think it can be beat for someone on a budget. Any accomodations problem is quickly addressed and solved.

This was our first trip to Olympic Park and we are glad we stayed here at Sol Duc. Just a short drive from the falls that were worth visiting and within an hour of Port Angeles. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The spring fed pool was also very nice. The food was excellent. For breadfast try the pancakes smothered... More
