This is a great place to visit especially late in the summer season when the crowds are less and the children are in school. Our cabin was very comfortable, the restaurant food was very good (loved that spinach artichoke omelet!), and the service was friendly. The local hiking was not mountainous but enough to earn a soak in the relaxing... More

My group of six friends visit once a year, and we just returned from our annual trip. Once again, we found the cabins to be poorly equipped for cooking and socializing. We pay for side-by-side cabins that accommodate eight people, yet there are chairs for only four. We had to ask for more chairs and more utensils. We even had... More

This place is nice, but it is really overpriced. When we came in, we couldn't park because of visitors of the hot springs. You can cook in the cabins, which you should do because the diner menu is horrendous (think roadside restaurants). Location is perfect near some great trails and service was great (they'll make you a really nice lunch... More

OK, so this is a long where from anywhere. We did not plan to stay the night, but we did. They messed up our bill terribly, the take out meal had no utensils...tough to eat salad with your fingers, the room was basic with no light on the nightstand to read by. I think the hotel was way overpriced. The... More

Sol Duc is a balance of rustic, convenience, and natural beauty. While it isn't a resort in the conventional sense, Sol Duc does have comfy cabins with lovely decor (but basic bathrooms) and beautiful views of evergreens and distant ridges. Like most national parks, they offer no room service, tv's, or telephones, but that's part of the charm. The restaurant... More

The actual cabins are clean, spacious and comfortable beds. We had a king cabin that has a table and chairs and small love seat. There were lamps on each of the night stands on either side of the bed, but no lighting at all over the table or love seat which made them unusable after dark. The picnic tables outside... More

The setting in the Olympic mountains is stunning, the natural mineral hot springs are wonderful, and the large fresh water pool is refreshing and clean. Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort has all the elements of being a truly great vacation retreat BUT they fall short in so many ways. The resort is run by Aramark under contract with the US... More

Pretty standard but serviceable. Lighter than other cabins we've stayed in and decent bath and bed. Saw deer outside early in the morning, and good trail nearby up to Mink Lake. Nice swing chair outside and balcony. But slightly uninspiring start to our holiday ...

If you are like me and ... so OVER Camping... then this is an alternate. However, you must pay for it. For the price they should have it thoroughly clean for the next user. BUT, we spent most of our time outdoors... hiking, biking, fishing, star gazing and of course the HOT SPRINGS! We ate the restaurant one night... but... More

We stayed here for our stay in Olympic National park in late August. It was a weekend stay and we stayed in one of the cabins. It was a very nice cabin, which is super clean and quite spacious. We had a nice swing outside the cabin to relax on. The staff was very friendly and went out of their... More
