The front desk staff were friendly and helpful upon our arrival and again for inquiries about local hiking. We stayed in the RV campground, which was a gravel parking lot located within a short walk from the lodge. There was little privacy. I would recommend an RV space closer to the river vs. the road. Electrical and water hook-ups are... More

Easy drive, snuggled into a rain forest valley. Expect rain. Rooms are in comfortable, clean cabins (mine was on the river bank) visited nightly by deer and elk. Pools are a great visit - guests get in an hour early in the morning before the hoards arrive. Food is basic and overpriced for the portions.

the cabin was clean, the water was hot, we were steps away from the river. the restaurant is over priced- plan ahead for food if possible. The Hot Springs are fantastic- worth the trip alone. The view was phenomenal- the refreshing forest. Good trip with or without kids.

I want to warn people about making reservation at National Park Reservations - internet site. They charged a 10% reservation fee base on the total cost of rooms. This fee is basically non-refundable. You get a credit good for one year. If you cancel within 5 hours, There is another $25 cancellation fee for each rooms. No other internet web... More

I go for the healing waters but improvements in the facilities make this good value. The cabins are now well appointed and include the cost of admission to the pools during your stay. In the past the cabins were very old and dirty. Now they are clean and look more like a standard mid range hotel but the main attraction... More

My husband and I heard about Sol Duc while watching evening magazine best of the west on TV. we were very excited to know that there was a hot springs in Washington.( We have always gone to Lava Hot springs in Idaho). When we got to Sol Duc the first thing we noticed was the overwhelming smell of Sulfur. Lava... More

Have been making an annual trip to the Sol Duc Hot Springs for a number of years now. Last year we had to find other accommodations because of the government shutdown, and were sad to miss soaking in the pools. The pools are wonderful after a long drive or hike and it feels heavenly to have a good soak in... More

Stayed for 2nights many times, very relaxing, peacefull, comfortable location with great acomodations. Love this spot BUT VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ON SITE :( ESPECIALLY MY LAST VISIT for which I came with 6 of my friends and their families. So it was sad to see unacomodating staff for their fist time experience.

Stayed 2 nights in August. Resort is nice, food actually much better than I expected. Hot Springs were refreshing after a long day of driving and hiking. Cabin was a typical cabin. Floor had spongy spots, toilet felt loose, window screens weren't secured, but bed was o.k. Your 45 minutes from anything when your in Sol Duc. Very relaxing, lovely... More

Decided to try and get a cabin for one night during our trip and were lucky to get the last one. Lovely cabin which we enjoyed spending time in. Unfortunately it rained heavily while we were there so didn't get chance to enjoy all the resort facilities but really pleased we had the one night.
