Truly a special place. The inn is fantastic, and the lobby is spectacular. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I realize the place is only open for summer, but the rooms, especially the bathroom could have been somewhat updated. Leaving the historic fixtures is one thing, but saving the fixtures from the 1970s is something else. Still, a very... More

If you are looking for a place that is like it was back in the day when adventure and entertainment was with the people you are with or surrounded by, then you will ejoy your stay here. There are no TV's, no cell service, ect. The entertainment is outside and in the open lodge area meeting and talking to people.... More

The hotel is marvelously placed near the heads of a large number of trails, many of which are paved as they go through rolling meadows in sight of the summit. We were there for a heat wave that brought an explosion of wildflowers, which normally happens in early summer but which were delayed by cold weather. The heat wave also... More

We thought we booked a nice room in a splendid surrounding, wrong we were. We got a room of 3*3 mtr with 2 single beds and a bathroom were only 1 fits for the amount of 164$. Upgrading gave us the same roomsize with 2 double beds. A toilet you could hardly fit between the walls...need I go on? OK,... More

We visited Paradise Inn in Sept.7 after driving in from Sea-Tac. Granted that gorgeous weather could only enhance our visit, the Inn was a real joy.Room was small, but we knew that going in and planned to spend as much time outside as possible anyway. The room was well made up, with wonderful feather comforters allowing us to keep the... More

Like at some other west coast National Parks, the rates for in-park lodging at Mt. Rainer seem significantly overpriced. To economize, my wife and I took the 2 twin-bedded room without bath for $109 + a high sales and occupancy tax (you can get the same room at the same price with 1 tiny-looking double, but unless it's your honeymoon,... I love the Paradise Inn. My husband and I decided to go up this past weekend for our one year wedding anniversary and come this Monday morning, I was wishing we could still be up there, relaxing by the fire while reading or playing a board game. Sure, the Paradise Inn is old and could use some work, but that's... More

I have stayed at the Paradise Inn seven times now. The most recent in Sept 2011. It is a great lodge experience. Right by paradise meadows. I truely love this place. It is not a luxury hotel but adequate and clean. The walls are a little thin but it is an old lodge. The food was not as good this... More

Paradise is a beautiful and remote location so its Inn has the advantage of being the only game in town. Yes, the rooms need repairs but are adequate and clean. They are, however, quite expensive. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. A big drawback is the food: nicely presented but of industrial quality in huge unappetizing portions. The... More
