Camped here for 2 nights for a visit to Mammoth Cave. Started off with an issue with our reservation, but the staff there went out of their way to accommodate, and were overall very helpful. The grounds were really nice, with plenty of spaces. The road noise was hardly noticeable most of the time, even though it is right off... More

The Horse Cave Kentucky KOA provided a nice, peaceful setting for camping. My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the beautiful campground. My only complaints would be that the Interstate is a little too close and the tents sites could be closer to the restroom. Other than that the site - including the restrooms- was clean and well maintained.... More

They gave us a nice drive thru site for our 32 ft RV... directly across from the playground! We were traveling with the grand kiddies! The site had a nice view of the grounds and an overlook of the highway. The place was clean and neat... the staff was nice. The pool I was told had a bit much chlorine...... More

We are from Chicago Illinois and decided to go camping somewhere other than our usual spot in Wisconsin Dells.. We usually stay at Koa's so we figured it would be a good experience.. We arrived to the cabin after driving 6+ hours and were excited because everytime we'd gone camping, it was always in a tent!.. We checked in, got... More

We wanted a decent place to stay around the caves that we could have a fire and hot showers. We paid around $80.00 for a camping lodge. Nice bed, large fridge and that is all that I can recommend about it. The hot water didn't work at the bath sink, no towel hooks and you pretty much have to stand... More

This is a great campground for a one night get up and go RV traveler. It is right off the parkway. That being said, there in lies the problem. The traffic noise all through the night was very loud. Upon arrival, we walked in to register at 3 PM and the place was locked up. The girl running the registration... More

The campground is very nice and well maintained. It had a pool, a little lake and even a little barn with ponies, a mule, a pig and chickens. It is quite close to the entrance of Mammoth Cave, though a different interstate exit. But it was very noisy. It is quite close to the interstate exit, and so, even though... More

Very nice KOA. The only drawback is the noise from the interstate. Excellent location for going to the local attractions like Mammoth Cave. Nice pool and even a little pond for fishing. My kids enjoyed the farm animals and we even saw a few deer wandering through the campground at dusk.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. Although we were too close to the freeway, the noise at night was minimal. The place has a lot of charm including a small farm with pigs, chickens, and burros. The mattress was much better than in most KOA cabins. It is also a good location for seeing the local attractions.

After visiting Mammoth Cave for 2 days we needed a place to relax, cookout and do laundry. A small cabin at this KOA gave us what we needed. As we were in back of the office toward the meadow so the highway noise did not bother us. The facilities were neat and clean, laundry from 2 weeks on the road... More
