We just recently stayed here during spring break & wouldn't ever stay here again. There is a Jellystone Campground just down the road & next time we'll try there. Many of the sites are small with really little grassy area - unless you are in a tent, then it's just a large grass area. It is right by the interstate... More

Horse Cave KOA was very nice. Staff was friendly and the cabin was very clean. We love staying at the KOA's. Only downfall which isn't too major is its right off the freeway so you hear the traffic when you go to bed. But would definite recommend staying here.

This is a basic campground. Bathrooms are eh... A place to go indoors, but each night there were roaches that came out. Yuck. The campground needs an update. Probably hasn't changed in 50 years. The highway noise is the worst part for me. I thought we would be "camping" but hearing semis while your fire is crackling away at night... More

Basic campground close to the highway. Nothing special. Typical bath house for camping. Needs to be cleaned more then once on the weekend or when busy. It was pretty dirty. Has a pool that our kids used. mini golf looked like it was working or hasn't been used in years. But we didn't ask. Had a nice playground for the... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the campground after having read a few reviews. Yes, it is right next to the highway. There's a bunch of construction going on at this time and it does get a little bit loud. No big deal. The back in sites are on a hill and are the nearest to the store and shower house.... More

Nice, clean, and near to Kentucky Down Under and lots of cave/nature things to do! The kids enjoyed the playground and pool. There was plenty of room for our tent, and plenty of spots to choose from. We didn't get around to playing miniature golf but it was nice to have the option.

Camped here for 2 nights for a visit to Mammoth Cave. Started off with an issue with our reservation, but the staff there went out of their way to accommodate, and were overall very helpful. The grounds were really nice, with plenty of spaces. The road noise was hardly noticeable most of the time, even though it is right off... More

The Horse Cave Kentucky KOA provided a nice, peaceful setting for camping. My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the beautiful campground. My only complaints would be that the Interstate is a little too close and the tents sites could be closer to the restroom. Other than that the site - including the restrooms- was clean and well maintained.... More

They gave us a nice drive thru site for our 32 ft RV... directly across from the playground! We were traveling with the grand kiddies! The site had a nice view of the grounds and an overlook of the highway. The place was clean and neat... the staff was nice. The pool I was told had a bit much chlorine...... More

We are from Chicago Illinois and decided to go camping somewhere other than our usual spot in Wisconsin Dells.. We usually stay at Koa's so we figured it would be a good experience.. We arrived to the cabin after driving 6+ hours and were excited because everytime we'd gone camping, it was always in a tent!.. We checked in, got... More
