We stayed in the cottages. Very convenient to everything. Very, very peaceful and quiet. Our room was very clean, but the bathroom smelled of bleach, but after opening the place up, that scent pretty much dissipated. There were no mice, but we kept all our food in the refrigerator. We knew we were getting a full-size bed and it was... More

We went to Mammoth Cave Nat'l Park on Labor Day weekend 2013 and stayed in the Woodland Cottages. I must first begin by stating that I do not enjoy camping. I chose the cottages b/c it was the closest thing to camping that I could handle. The cottages were perfect. We had two rooms, each with a double bed and... More

The cottages are quite spacious. Our group of 11 rented three cottages and each had two bedrooms, a separate toilet and a separate shower. Each bedroom has a sink in it. We also had a medium sized fridge with freezer and each bedroom had a ceiling fan. The rooms are quite large - we had plenty of room for the... More

We rented a "full cabin"; meaning we had tons of space- we had four bedrooms with two beds each and our cabin was not connected to others. For reference, the layout of the cabin is where each room as two beds. Had we rented one single cabin/room- our room/cabin would have been connected to others. If you just got a... More

I loved staying in the cottages at Mammoth Cave because they are so unique. We had a two bedroom cottage that was separated by the bathroom/shower (the towels and amenities were great). I was happy that there was an extra blanket in the room because I enjoyed keeping all the windows open to feel the cool mountain air and to... More

We chose the Woodland Cottage for our stay at Mammoth Cave National Park because of the price ($62 / night). After reading some of the reviews below, we had a bit of concern about cleanliness, etc. There was absolutely no issue with that and we were quite pleasantly surprised at how clean and quaint the cottage was. We had a... More

Upon arriving with my family, we had 3 cabins with 18 People ( 8 were children ) Cabins were nice and the price was right. The kids loved the caves and being outside. In the evening we went to the parks picnic area for smores. by the way, that stop selling fire wood at 8. The beds were average, and... More

LOVED it loved it loved it! Kinda rustic, tucked to the side, just wonderful! When we went the place was not full, but it was great! The only thing I do not like is that some people had their dogs there-I don't like to vacation with other peoples dogs-they force me to listen to their dogs bark, smell or step... More

We stayed overnight at one of the Woodland Cottages. We were able to get a room for about $60, which seemed reasonable. There didn't appear to be heat and the weekend was unseasonably cold but they did provide plenty of blankets. There was a "modern" bathroom, electricity and a mini-refrigerator. It definitely was rustic in the sense that the curtains... More

Wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a place to stay for one night. The cabin itself was okay. However, it needed some basic cleaning. The spiders and cobwebs were awful. These could be easily cleaned up when/if they clean the rooms. There was a mini fridge and coffee pot in the room. A grill would have been nice outside. The... More
