The Woodland cabins are sparsely appointed, but very clean and you do not go to Mammoth Cave to sit in a room. The 2 Bedroom arrangements with a shower and bath between the rooms was excellent as my Wife ans I took our 12 year old Grandson on a tour of the Cave. No AC so Plan Ahead and bring... More

The cabin had two bedrooms with a commode room and a shower in-between. No air conditioning, but large screened windows and ceiling fans coupled with placement in the woods meant it was not even missed. Comfortable beds, a porch to sit on, electrical outlets in each bedroom, the woods and trails, the caves. Excellent!

Went mid week for visit to Mammoth Caves. Very clean and comfortable, although the beds were not the best qualify. Very simple cottage with small refrigerator and coffee maker. Other than a few restaurants at the visitor center there are no other places to eat except at Cave City about 8-10 miles away. The cottages are close to nice well-groomed... More

The water is not warm enough to have shower. The whole room is really cold. Also there are a lot of bugs. I will not recommend to leave there. The bed are really bad two. Small and shaking. There are a lot of other hotels not far away, I will choose those hotels next time.

This was not quite the woodland location I had anticipated (the main car park was in full view). However, it was very quaint and rustic, with a full cicada chorus and other wildlife noises accompanying our night's sleep. We were even awoken by a little woodmouse snuffling around in our room... Despite that, the rooms themselves were clean and comfortable.... More

Room had a small fridge which was nice and it was a nice size and felt clean but nothing too nice - typical park room. Restaurant was actually decent and served wine and beer. Didn't have any trouble w/ noise from other rooms and we only spent one night here so it was fine.

This is a very basic cottage. No internet, phone, alarm clock, tv etc. We loved how peaceful it was getting away from everything for a night for our anniversary. Great price and cant wait to go back. Water was hot, shower head had amazing water and room was clean.

If visiting Mammoth Caves then these are great to stay in. The car park is very close to the cottages and the cave entrance is a short walk away (the cottages are just at the edge of the main caves car park so you are only a little further away than people who drive in for the day). These are... More

The cottages are not fancy by any means, and no a/c, no tv, so it that is what you are looking for, stay in the hotel at the National Park. That being said - we loved the cottage! We stayed in a 2 bedroom - one bedroom with 2 twins for our 2 kids and one bedroom with a double... More

My sister an I chose to stay here on our trip because it was the only place that allowed dogs. We had a one bedroom with a double and twin bed. I was a little unsure about the place, but when we got there I was glad we chose to stay there! It was very clean and comfortable. It was... More
