Room had a small fridge which was nice and it was a nice size and felt clean but nothing too nice - typical park room. Restaurant was actually decent and served wine and beer. Didn't have any trouble w/ noise from other rooms and we only spent one night here so it was fine.

This is a very basic cottage. No internet, phone, alarm clock, tv etc. We loved how peaceful it was getting away from everything for a night for our anniversary. Great price and cant wait to go back. Water was hot, shower head had amazing water and room was clean.

If visiting Mammoth Caves then these are great to stay in. The car park is very close to the cottages and the cave entrance is a short walk away (the cottages are just at the edge of the main caves car park so you are only a little further away than people who drive in for the day). These are... More

The cottages are not fancy by any means, and no a/c, no tv, so it that is what you are looking for, stay in the hotel at the National Park. That being said - we loved the cottage! We stayed in a 2 bedroom - one bedroom with 2 twins for our 2 kids and one bedroom with a double... More

My sister an I chose to stay here on our trip because it was the only place that allowed dogs. We had a one bedroom with a double and twin bed. I was a little unsure about the place, but when we got there I was glad we chose to stay there! It was very clean and comfortable. It was... More

This was our first time staying in the woodland cottages. We had fun walking around and we got to see several deer that evening! All the staff was very friendly, Stephen checked us in and was very helpful! If you come in the middle of summer bring a fan as there is no air conditioning or tv. The tv we... More

I don't need fancy and I like the old timey charm of the cottages, but I DO like a chair that I sit in not to sag. And I like the screens in the doors not to have holes. And I wouldn't mind fitted sheets. And while I understand the picnic area being set off a bit from the cottages,... More

This was our first time staying in the Woodland Cottages (they are the only cottages in the park where you can bring your pets). Previously, we have stayed in the Heritage Trail rooms in the hotel (which are wonderful but get one overlooking the trail, not the parking lot). We have also stayed in the Historic Hotel Cottages (which we... More

Excellent price, clean, dry cabin, very close to visitor center, main cave, hotel, restaurant....bring your own beer, this was one of the most memorable travel experiences we have had and would recommend for any family.

ADORABLE, vintage rustic cabins with comfortable beds. I think we paid $60/night. Seriously. Our cabin had its own bathroom (shower only), but I think some have a shared bath. The location was great, a short drive to the cave. I would pass on the breakfast available in the hotel restaurant. Your choices are pretty much pancakes, sausage, and potatoes, none... More
