Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge My family and I decided to tie a fishing trip into King Salmon (see Rainbow Bend Lodge’s review) to a trip to Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodges just south of Seward. We rented a car and drove from Anchorage down to Seward and spent the night at a local hotel, getting on our boat the next morning.... More

We stayed at the Glacier Lodge for 2 nights and wished that we had stayed longer. The 4 hour boat trip from Seward to Kenai was delightful, with sightings of humpback whales, porpoises, puffins, sea otters, eagles, and many bird species. The 1/2 mile walk from the landing site to the lodge was a wonderful introduction to the beautiful wilderness... More

We spent three nights here as part of a 2 lodge package, coming via boat from Seward on a rather wet day and getting to the lodge in the late afternoon in time for a short canoe trip across the inlet. We stayed in Cabin #7, which included two double beds, table, chair, luggage rack, on bed lamp and a... More

Thank you for your feedback! We're happy you were able to experience two of our lodge properties on the Kenai Peninsula during your trip. Our guest cabins at Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge are very similar for the most part, although we do have a small number of "family cabins," which have 3 beds inside the rooms. We also have one... More

Ditto all the other reviews! The adventure began with a scenic boat ride to the lodge where we saw orcas, humpbacks, glaciers calving and beautiful scenery along the way. The lodge has a gorgeous setting looking out at a peaceful lagoon and glacier. Rocking chairs on the front deck are very inviting for contemplating the peaceful setting. The cabins are... More

These reviews say it all. This was our most favorite spot of our 3 week Alaska vacation, which included the Alaska Wildland Adventures 11 day tour and an inside passage cruise. We spent 4 wonderful nights here and could have spent more. Views and wildlife are breathtaking - humbling, peaceful, magnificent. The lodge is only about 5 years old and... More

While researching for our Alaska vacation, we came across the Alaska Wildland Adventures website. The pictures and descriptions of this location and the excursions are accurate and we are glad we chose to stay at Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge. From the moment we stepped on the boat for the ride out to the lodge it was apparent that safety and... More

This place is unbelievable. Out in the middle of nowhere lies the oasis. Just a couple of years old the lodge and cabins are immaculate. No duplex cabins here so your neighbor doesn't wake you in the morning. I must say that being in the middle of the national park there is no Internet and no cell phone service. (The... More

There is no way that I can praise the Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge and Alaska Wildland Adventures enough. It's a wonderful company and the *only* way to truly experience the Kenai Peninsula. On the first day we were supposed to head out to the Glacier Lodge, the seas were too high in the Gulf of Alaska and they couldn't get... More
