Perfectly located between the town of Joshua Tree and the entrance to the Joshua Tree National Park, Sacred Sands is a fantastic location. My wife and I stayed there in November 2014 and enjoyed everything: quiet place (only 2 rooms), private deck with jaccuzi, wonderful decoration, very zen/peaceful, excellent breakfast and very friendly owners with tons of interesting information.

We had a great time at Sacred Sands! I'm not sure how anyone could be disappointed in the property. The bathroom is done very well, the outdoor space is excellent (hot tub looking out onto the desert!) and the linens on the bed are so comfortable. Breakfast is VERY good and the company is great. If you're staying two nights... More

We spent three nights at this wonderful, peaceful, and gorgeous spot one mile from the Western Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. You couldn't ask for better hosts (Scott and Steve) or a more magical setting to view, let's say, a total lunar eclipse. And breakfast is a gourmet adventure each morning. Staying at Sacred Sands was a highlight of... More

Incredibly zen. My husband and I came here for a weekend get away about two weeks ago. When you walk into the beautifully decorated rooms, the scent of eucalyptus fills the air and you are immediately transported to a sanctuary. Each room has a bed, shower with two heads (plus two jets), it's own private patio, outdoors bed, and jacuzzi.... More

This is a unique and fun bed and breakfast, tasteful and almost whimsical in it's decor, fascinating in it's construction and history. It's featured in a book (that was available in the large common room) on construction for extreme environments. The two proprietors are friendly and knowledgeable of the park and the surrounding community, and are local activists working to... More

The cynic in me wondered about all perfect reviews but in this case they are fully justified. Steve and Scott have just the right touch as hosts and the location and the facilities are perfect. When your partner is reduced to tears (for the right reasons) on entering the room you have probably booked the right place! Relaxing under the... More

This place so deserves its 100+ only excellent reviews. It's different from any other, the rooms are decorated in a stylish, country feeling which makes them wonderful. The couple running it make you feel welcome, they prepare a researched and sophisticated breakfast like no other place. The whole place feels very zen, peaceful, where nobody can bother you.

Stop 5 on our USA road trip. We were concerned about this stop, as we are complete 'townies' and normally choose anonymous, luxury hotels where we can keep ourselves to ourselves- however the reviews were so compelling we decided we couldn't miss the opportunity while in the area. What a good decision! The photos do not do this place justice-... More

Sacred Sands is a unique and amazing place to stay. From the time you walk in you feel that you are transported to a calm and peaceful place to relax and unwind. The rooms both have jacuzzis which after a day exploring the nearby Joshua Tree National Park are a perfect way to relax. The proprietors Steve and Scott are... More

We went on our honeymoon, this place is fabulous. Can't recommend it enough, if you have a chance go. Breakfast was an amazing feast, the buildings are so interesting. The hot tub under the stars, the uninstructed views and the welcome. All in all just great
