The lodge in a spectacular setting, no question about it. Having said that, We spent a few nights at the lodge recently and were disappointed. We reserved a 'cottage', which is nothing more than a room in a strip motel, a well worn tired vintage 60's facility inside and out. Granted, there are very limited lodging options in the area,... We had a great time at the Jackson Lake Lodge. Unbelievable view, rooms in cabins a little rustic but overall the Mural Room, and The Pioneer Grill and The Blue Heron were great and very accomodating. We would strongly recommend the River Float....so relaxing at the 5:45 hour. Mural Room is great for a sunset dinner. Went off premise for... More

I doubt anyone comes to stay at Jackson Lake Lodge because of the rooms. It's entirely to be in the park and totally absorb the awesome view. We stayed one night, which was perfect. We had a 'mountain view' cabin and while the view is worth a million dollars, the rooms are not - they are like Motel 6. They... More

Hi, It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. I am exaggerating. It wasn’t London or Paris. it was just one place with very different experiences. Jackson Lake Lodge was more like a tale of three cities actually. That may be too extreme because it is only one place but for us it was three different... More

My wife and I returned to Jackson Lake Lodge after 20 years and had the same fabulous experience we had with our kids. Unparalleled views from our room facing the Tetons and an outstanding staff. Rooms could be remodeled, but then again its only a 4 month season and you do not go to the Tetons to sit in your... More

We stayed here only one night. We got in around 6, checked in and walked around. The lodge is beautifully done and the view from the backside is spectacular, breathtaking, and downright awesome. We stayed in a cabin near the lodge. We ate dinner at the BBQ around the pool. Food was only average. We later went and watched the... More

Just returned to JLL after 15 years. Wonderful stay. Facility about the same - rooms dated and unairconditioned - but comfortable. main building and grounds well maintained. Stayed in a meadow-view cabin both times and pleased with privacy, view, and temperature. No a/c so kept draperies drawn all day which maintained a cool atmosphere after returning from a day of... We chose Jackson Lake Lodge for its view, and we weren't disappointed. The main building had a fabulous view, and sitting on the patio watching the sunrise and sunset is incredible. It was busy, and it was hard to get service for food and drinks, and the service wasn't very good. Still, the view was so good, it was easy... More

Arrived here after spending a disappointing night at the lodge at Yellowstone lake;what a difference! Beautiful setting, great restaurants, great activities available, nice rooms (we stayed in a cabin which was large and comfortable), courteous service in all areas, incredible views from upstairs lounges.Would definitely stay here again, and skip accomodations in yellowstone- daytrips from Jackson lake into Yellowstone are... They need to renovate the cabins because they are ugly. We had mold in the bathroom and blood stains on the wall and carpet. However, the location was great!! You won't want or need to spend a lot of time in the cabin. Housekeeping was horrible and they didn't do much cleaning. Food places in the lodge are good! Diner,... More
