From checking in to check-out, our experience was just wonderful! We searched and searched through Trip Advisor on the best accommodations at the right price for a one night stay. We picked right... Easy check-in, quiet location, and the room was fantastic. In room coffee, refrigerator, safe, extremely comfortable bed, great decor with a picture window providing a lovely view.... More

The location of this hotel is excellent, right inside the park, with shuttle bus right in front of the main building and the village with a deli and convenience shop within walking distance. The hotel is undergoing major renovations, so there is no cafe or restaurant on site, and main building is almost impossible to find - we came late... More

Attempting to find lodging within the village can be very difficult, and through Yavapai is no exception. However, this was the one place that I was able to gain reservations online. I would search one day and a reservation would disappear. Then the next day reservations would appear again. You have to be persistent and keep trying. I was able... More

We stopped here in Grand Canyon Village on our tour as we did not know how far the next motel was, and it was getting a bit late in the day. We arrived around 5pm and everywhere was very busy being the Spring Holiday in the US. There was a queue at Reception but the lady was so patient and... More

The hotel is very nice and in an excellent location for enjoying the Grand Canyon. There's a shuttle bus stop right in front of the main lodge that will take you to the visitors center and to Grand Canyon village so we didn't have much use for our car once we arrived. At least when I booked, Yavapai was significantly... More

We stayed here for one night to explore the South Rim. Satying inside the park enabled us to view both the sunset and the sunrise. Our room was a king bed in buliding number 3. The lodge consists of a main building with reception and other services (the restaurant was closed for renonation, but opens mid May 2015). The rooms... More

If you're looking to stay in the National Park, this is a really good bet. It's considered part of the Canyon Village but is not right in the area of where the majority of lodges are located (4 min. drive); thus making parking great (parking at others, i.e., El Tovar, Bright Angel is terrible). Rooms are nothing fancy but clean... More

The room was not fancy but the bed was very comfy, clean and with great hot water! It was a nice walk to the rim. It wasn't too busy while we were there so we had no issues finding parking wherever we went but in peak season the buses would be a god send. It was SOOON quiet!!!. Nice to... More

Despite my making reservations months ago and prepaying $182.00 for our first night, at that time, I was informed at check in that they would need to charge an additional $50.00 to my card for "incidentals". "You know, in case you order a pizza or use our phone". I have a cell phone and I don't intend to order a... More

It is important if you are visiting the Canyon to stay in the park so you can be there to experience sunrise, sunset and spend some time touring and learning about the park. We found Yavapai Lodge to be very comfortable, clean and well worth the money. It is heavily used but it is well maintained, beds were clean and... More
