This was your typical national park lodging, but it was clean and served the purpose. We spent little time there since we were off roaming about the Canyon grounds. There were 3 of us and the room was certainly large enough to keep us comfortable. No air conditioning, but we were out of season and needed the heat instead....easy walk... More

Drab with musty smell. Reserved three rooms for family and one member got room with dirty and stained sheets! Overnite stay was over rated. Only saving grace was shuttle service with friendly drivers. I concur with others who recommend "stay outside" the park. More

Noisy, drab, and way overpriced. We stayed on the bottom floor and listen to the constant tramping and banging above us. We got little of no sleep. Room was very old and drab. The ONLY good about the room is it's close to the rim. Most national park lodging is overpriced but this one could take the cake. Stay outside... More

My family and I had two rooms here for one night. The rooms are about a half mile walk from El Tovar and the heart of grand canyon village. They offer shuttle service which I found out the hard way stops at 10pm. Its a long dark walk through wooded areas. We were soo glad that we also choose to... More

I particularly asked the tour company when I booked ,did this hotel have Internet and was told right up until my last day there, that this was the case, but the truth is it works less often than it works.Rooms are gloomy and the cafeteria was abysmal. Why is it so hard to get milk an tea in the USA too. We stayed 1 night in Aspen building. First floor room with a patio and chairs. It was clean but small. It was very close to the main building and we were lucky enough to park directly in front of our room. Parking was tight. We ate in the cafeteria and it was reasonable. Just a short walk to the rim... More

Stayed here as part of a Grand Canyon Railway package. Rooms are set in 'lodges' scattered amongst the trees. Reception and cafeteria are a short walk away. OK if weather is fine but not if it is raining. Not suitable for those with walking difficulties. Also tricky to get to the room in the dark. Room was gloomy and uninspiring.... More

We booked 2 rooms at Maswik Lodge in early May 2012, paying $100 / room. Nestled in the trees, it's not luxurious but basic and comfortable. Located an easy walk from the rim and village, we picked this over the Yavapi which is close to the visitor's center. Booking staff was great (called them with questions after online booking &... We stayed 3 nights on the 2nd floor of the Willow building in mid-April. You can't beat the location - only a short walk to the rim! The room was basic - we felt it was just what we needed, anything fancier would have been out of place! The nature is incredibly beautiful; we were lucky to see some of... More

So-So but with Easy access to the South Rim. Nothing great about this lodge. It was a 3 star. Needs some updates. However, it was centrally located and had dining on site which was very convienent. More
