Very nice location. It is located right at the start of the Bright Angel trail on the south rim. We hiked down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and stayed here the night before and after. They kept our luggage for us while we were gone and the luggage was in our room when we returned. This was very... More

Food terrible. Staff really not very good at all. Internet speed very slow. This place needs to come into this century. The US government should really hold them to a high standard as this is a national park. It's not good at all.

Basic but nice cabin, right beside the rim, parked the car up for entire stay with no need to get it out again. Bar was quite good, beer selection not the best though! Restaurant was great, nice food and friendly staff with an international flavour. Only gripe was the entertainment in the bar were only interested in playing to themselves!!!

Very well located as it is right at the start of the Bright Angel trail and the Hermits Rest trail (south rim). We did the Hermits Rest trail and stayed a night in a cabin from Bright Angel lodge. With only 1min walk from our cabin we could watch the sunset on the grand canyon. I would stay there again... More

The rooms here are cute and comfortable. I chose a room that had a shared shower, but its own toilet and hand basin. This worked out really well as there are only a few rooms sharing each shower. A choice such as this makes the visit that bit more affordable. The room had a traditional lodge style, wood construction, simple... More

This is not a luxurious lodge but the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you require. The location is fantastic - right on the south rim, although we didn't have a view. In our case we had to share a shower which I wasn't looking forward to, but was pleasantly surprised to find them very clean and it wasn't... More

We had a basic lodge, just steps from the rim offering great views. Considering the number of visitors and the need for booking a long time in advance the rates can be called cheap. Also the diner in the lodge restaurant was very (!) good and affordable. Room was very clean and cosy, no AC but ceiling fan did the... More

Stayed in a cabin 100 yards from the south rim; can't beat the location. Queen bed, small fridge, and a bathroom that had been recent renovated. Even with no A/C in August with the ceiling fan and open windows it was plenty cool. Nothing fancy, but just what I was looking for. Don’t expect a 5-star lodge and you’ll be... More

If you want the height of luxury, go stay in Vegas. If you want a charming log cabin two minutes walk from the Grand Canyon's South Rim, this may be the place for you. The cabins are simple, with beds, basic private bathroom and a fan (no air conditioning), but, we were pleasantly surprised to discover, also include a TV,... More

Stayed 4 nights in mid august. Had a lovely lodge (6171) just off the rim, maybe 30m walk. Own shower and parking right outside, minimal noise and fan managed the heat. Little fridge allowed us to save on eating out. Coffee maker in room. Stunning views right out front door.Excellent bus service to take to different points of south rim... More
