The rooms here are cute and comfortable. I chose a room that had a shared shower, but its own toilet and hand basin. This worked out really well as there are only a few rooms sharing each shower. A choice such as this makes the visit that bit more affordable. The room had a traditional lodge style, wood construction, simple... More

This is not a luxurious lodge but the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you require. The location is fantastic - right on the south rim, although we didn't have a view. In our case we had to share a shower which I wasn't looking forward to, but was pleasantly surprised to find them very clean and it wasn't... More

We had a basic lodge, just steps from the rim offering great views. Considering the number of visitors and the need for booking a long time in advance the rates can be called cheap. Also the diner in the lodge restaurant was very (!) good and affordable. Room was very clean and cosy, no AC but ceiling fan did the... More

Stayed in a cabin 100 yards from the south rim; can't beat the location. Queen bed, small fridge, and a bathroom that had been recent renovated. Even with no A/C in August with the ceiling fan and open windows it was plenty cool. Nothing fancy, but just what I was looking for. Don’t expect a 5-star lodge and you’ll be... More

If you want the height of luxury, go stay in Vegas. If you want a charming log cabin two minutes walk from the Grand Canyon's South Rim, this may be the place for you. The cabins are simple, with beds, basic private bathroom and a fan (no air conditioning), but, we were pleasantly surprised to discover, also include a TV,... More

Stayed 4 nights in mid august. Had a lovely lodge (6171) just off the rim, maybe 30m walk. Own shower and parking right outside, minimal noise and fan managed the heat. Little fridge allowed us to save on eating out. Coffee maker in room. Stunning views right out front door.Excellent bus service to take to different points of south rim... More

We loved our cabin at Bright Angel Lodge. We rented two rooms which comprised the entire cabin. We lucked out and had a connecting door (which they couldn't guarantee at booking.) Amenities: Mini fridge, tv, and dispensers with a heavenly lemongrass scented body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Walk a few steps to the the Grand Canyon and the bright Angel... More

We are steps from the south rim! Amazing views, great maintained trails, lots of families, fun family activities, and great dining at the lodge! Many different activities for everyone choose; trails, horseback, ranger lead, back country trails, well worth EVERY DOLLAR!

Our little cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed. It was great being so close to the canyon, it made it a bit easier to get up in time for sunrise! The best was comfortable and it was very peaceful

We arrived just before sunset, and we were steps away from the Grand Canyon. It was a little tricky finding our room in the cottages as well as parking. The room was so nice, very southwestern, with in-room coffee and tea making capabilities. The bathroom was well-equipped. No air conditioning, but the area cooled down very well. In the evening,...
