This is a smaller campground. It is operated by the forestry service, not the national park service. While all the NPS campgrounds and hotels were full, this campground had several openings. I think that people visiting the canyon often have no idea it is there. It is a nice campground with basic amenities. There is water and restrooms. The restrooms... More

Great place to camp cheap. Only $10. Most sites are great. Stinky bathrooms, though clean. Toroweap loop has some good sites. Just 15 minutes to the Grand Canyon visitor center and about 7 to Tusayan for restaurants and amenities

Stayed here in June and it was a great experience. The campgrounds are outside the park itself but it's only 5 minute drive. The bathrooms were basic pit bathrooms but clean, no showers though. I would definitely come back here next time I visit!

Ten-X was a very peaceful and calm campground. We stayed on campsite number 18. The campsite was very large and secluded. The picnic table is large and shaded by trees. This campground does not have flush toilets. Some of the vault toilets smelled disgusting while others smelled very clean. There is no sinks to wash your hands or dishes. They... More

The 4 of us (2 couples) traveled to the Grand Canyon from Dallas, TX. We were very anxious to arrive at Ten-X since we had driven 2 days to get there. (Spent 1st nite in Albuquerque at Dancing Eagle Casino RV Park (great place to stay for a quick overnite). We were leaving 95 degree temperatures with high humidity in... More

My group had originally planned to stay at the Desert View campground only to arrive at the national park to find that it and Mather were both full. It was approaching sunset so we quickly made the trip to Ten-X. Turns out it was the best decision we could have ever made! They had plenty of available campgrounds and they... More

Spacious, wooded sites, quiet, clean. The campground host, Richard, and his loyal sidekick, Honey made it a truley enjoyable stay. Richard is very knowledgeable and gave us some great suggestions for places to check out in the park and shuttles to take, things we would have missed out on if he hadn't told us about them. He really seemed to... More

Do not leave food out! Reavens will mess it all up. If you're a nature lover you will love Ten X Campground. It is also a hikers dream, they have established trails on site. Oh ya, don't forget to bring your camera's, there's plenty of wildlife, including deer, chipmonks, and squirrels.
