Located adjacent to Mathers campground but with full hook up rather than the usual minimalist facilities most campgrounds have that are inside US National parks. The free shuttle bus service from the office makes this a really convenient place to camp with an RV (or tent). We enjoyed a full day out using the blue then red routes and within... More

We travel in a 43' motor home towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee. We were totally surprised and delighted with the accommodations here. Trees for shade and beautiful paved roads and sites. Elk visitors in the morning added to our joy staying in this most wonderful National Park. Would definitely recommend. Can't wait to go back.

It was nice having full hookups so close to the canyon rim. The store was close by, and bike/walking paths were convenient and took us right where we needed to go. The cable TV didn't work, and it wasn't just our site. Elk walk through the park without a care. I'd definitely stay there again.

The location was good with a pull through site. Showers, on the other hand, plummeted this review. The only showers were located in another camp ground and cost 2$. We hiked down to Phantom Ranch and stayed the night there and they had free showers. If you shower in your RV I guess you are good. Otherwise, a journey and... More

We visit the Grand Canyon several times a year, living in Arizona, this was our first time with the RV and it was our best visit so far. We stayed 2 nights in Trailer Village. It is the only RV campground in the park that has full hookups and also is the only place on the South Rim that accommodates... More

We enjoyed Trailer Village and would say if you are going to Grand Canyon South Rim this is the way to go. Much easier to be right in the park. All throughout the day several female elk roamed around the campground. It was really cool watching them munching grass right out our window. We mistakingly thought the store and other... More

Location is great - right in the National Park and accessible by the free park shuttle. The sites are larges enough to be comfortable, but they are not very level. There are bathrooms every few rows and they are clean enough, just don't expect any sort of luxury. Showers and laundry are nearby (you'll want to drive) but you have... More

Loved this campground. Full hookup for $36. Clean and enjoyable visit. Walking distance to the rim. I jogged around in the morning so if you're a jogger WOW this is a great run. Free shuttle buses leave every ten minutes so you really can leave your vehicle parked. Walking distance to laundry, full sevice grocery store and post office. One... More

Very nice campground at South Rim of Grand Canyon. Full hookups and although the gal at check in said she "hoped" the cable worked, it did!! (Except for Saturday afternoon... which necessitated a fun side trip to a bar in the village to see American Pharaoh win the Triple Crown!) No WIFI but strong cell service. Close to groceries and... If you want to be in the heart of everything Grand Canyon with full hook ups you can't get closer than this! The shuttle stops at the entrance of the park and it will take you everywhere for free. You don't need a car to get around in the Canyon. The campground sites are pull through with full hookups. Spacing... More
