There is nothing special about the park itself. It's all about location. We came in in the dark after hours and got the one spot left. It was so cold and our neighbors with a rental unit had their water plugged in to the spout. It was freezing and squirting everywhere. When we woke up in the morning the leaking... More

We loved the location of this place in the park. We took the bus a few time to get around and enjoyed having the freedom to spend some time around the canyon and be able to come back to the rv for dinner without driving. Clean, well kept bathroom and lots of elk wandering around.

Stayed here for 1 night. Came in after hours with no reservation and was able to get a spot. There was about 6-8" of snow on the ground and it was freezing! The location is perfect. Walking distance to the canyon, about a 20 minute walk, pretty easy trail. We weren't here long, but would have enjoyed a lengthier stay.... More

We stayed at the park in out fifth wheel. The park was great! It was clean, with a more than adequate transpiration system in the park and multiple education opportunities from the rangers. We will be returning.

Like my title says, the location makes this a four star park. The rv park is pretty basic. Relatively flat spots, 50/30 amp service with dumps at each spot. There is not much else at the rv park itself. They advertise cable tv but when I asked about it, I was told the tv was in analog over the cable... More

We had never gone on an RV trip before so everything was new to us. The reviews on TripAdvisor helped a lot in choosing where to stay - knowing we weren't towing a car we decided in Trailer Village so we could easily hop on the shuttle to visit other areas of the South Rim. The market is walking distance... More

Location, location, location. This is what pushes my review to 4 stars. It is located right inside the walk within walking distance to the Rim Trail as well as to the general store. The shuttle bus stops here for easy access to the entire park. Wildlife is abundant which is nice to see as well. It is a basic campground.... More

So peaceful at night. No lights just stars and quiet. Lots of wildlife to see and great hiking down into the canyon. Sunsets, sun and cool nights. Great price and free public buses to get around the South Rim. Walk to everything too. My favorite RV park that I visited. Everyone should visit the Grand Canyon at least once in... More

Great location but the sites are not big rig friendly. They are maybe 40-48 feet and no where near level. Reservations are required as the park is full most of time. Reservations are handled by someone no where near the park and they really can't answer your questions correctly.

Thank you for your comments on our Trailer Village at Grand Canyon. I am sorry to read that you did not find the site to be level. We just resurfaced all the sites and roads, so I am surprised that the site was not level. I am sending your comments to our Rooms Director, and to our Central Reservations Director... More

Well maintained campground, walking distance to Mather Point and well stocked grocery store. Elks and deer wander around the grounds. Our full hookup, paved site was fairly level, with picnic table and pedestal open grill. We stayed 10 days in a 23' TT and have no complaints.
