We spent two nights here. It was as close to the Grand Canyon as we could get in a Class A. The sites were clean and level. No WiFi or cable but what the heck, we had Satellite TV. AT&T & Verizon reception was marginal. This is managed by a contractor so no Old-Timer Discount here.

my partner and i (uk) stayed at the village in late september 2012, and found it to be a marvellous camp. the lady at the gate house welcomed us, we had pre booked, but there were plenty of free sites. the village shops and restaurants etc were a short walk around some woods, which we cut through on the walk back,... We picked up our motor home from Vegas and drove to the Grand Canyon via the hoover dam. We arrived around 5pm and the reception was closed but there was a sign saying which lot we had been assigned. This was our first time in a motor home so we were nervous but the site was perfect. It was easy... More

The location of this RV camp grounds is wonderful. I'm not a camper. My idea of camping is the Fairmont. But we rented an RV with friends and drove to the Grand Canyon to stay three nights. It was a blast. There are paved trials that lead you to the rim of the canyon, approximately a 10 minute walk. We... More

We visited in late October when nighttime temps were in the 20s and 30s, and we were happily surprised to find that the bathrooms were heated. The campground is very clean, and the sites mostly level. A short walk from the campground takes you to the visitor center and rim, where you can catch a bus to any of a... More

We stayed here overnight when visiting the Grand Canyon. It was handy to everything (walking distance to the main visitor centre) and also had a bus stop for the village shuttle. We were hoping to stay 2 nights but arrived on a Friday (without a booking) and got the last spot in the RV park. There were deer/elk wandering through... More

Once the Grand Canyon was reopened for visiting...I called the Xanterra folks that run the Trailer Village. The woman that I spoke to was extremely helpful...and booked us a site for three nights. There was no fee for booking with them...and a site with cable, electric, water, and sewer for our travel trailer was only $38.00. You are so close... More

Thank youi for your comments on your stay at our Trailer Village. The location is convenient and the recent repaving of the roads has enhanced the entire park. It is also a great place for wildlife viewing. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. More

Was not sure how close we were going to be to everything but was pleasantly surprised as we could walk to the rim and tourist center easily through nice trails saw some deer along the way. Also a pretty short walk to the grocery store through the cabin areas.

We stayed at trailer village in late June. Deer and elk were throughout the campground, easy walk to the free shuttle, and full hook ups, couldn't have asked for more. Great stay. Bathrooms was very clean but would have been nice to have had showers.

I was very hesitant to book at Trailer Village because the spots looked so small with little shade. I was pleasantly surprised - the sites are small but we felt that we had antiquate room and we requested a shady spot and the staff came through. When I asked for a shade spot (months in advance) I thought to myself... More
