My friend and I stayed here but were frustrated and the noise level and the amount of rude people that walk through tent sites. It is convenient for walking into the village for shopping and restaurants and accessing Lake McDonald. But for those who are looking for showers need to know that THERE ARE NO SHOWERS IN APGAR CAMPGROUND OR... More

My husband and I stayed here over the long weekend with his parents and all I could think was how great it would be if we had the kids. The camp ground is a typical camp ground but there is a lot of spacing between spaces so you don't feel too close to your neighbours which is nice. Bathrooms are... More

Good choice for tent campers if the weather is poor because you’re close to restaurants, shops and the visitor centre. We were in Loop A, site 21, conveniently sandwiched between a water pump and a bear box. Boxes are quite small and in short supply, consequently have to be shared by a number of campsites, but they’re not needed by... More

We were looking for a good spot to car camp for a single night while visiting the park. We got to the camp site around noon and had our choice of dozens of spots though the campground filled up around 4pm. Nothing special but it was everything we needed for our short stay. We loved the near by lake for... More

Stayed here for two nights. We had a site in Loop B. Site was a pull-thru with small area that had a picnic table and fire ring. We could see our neighbors but they were far enough away we didn't hear their conversations. The bathrooms were clean, but the one nearest our site was closed. That was okay with us... More

Tent camped for a few weeks here. The sites were well treed and private. I was in section C in a tent site only. Staff was first rate and it was an easy short drive to the Village of West Glacier for supplies. The campground is on Lake McDonald which is one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever... More

This review is for Fishcreek campground within the Apgar. There is also another campground close to the Apgar village that is called Apgar camground. This is a solid campground that is clean and well cared for . The restrooms are adequate. The rangers were visable and did a good job. The lake is fantastic, warm enough for a swim. Our... More

Had a great site in B Loop. We were towing a trailer across country so the drive through site was nice. Decent area for a tent, though many of the drive thrus don't. Restrooms basic, but clean. Site itself had great trees and we didn't feel like we were on top of our neighbors even though its a large campground.... More

There's a two week limit on staying in the park. On arrival I didn't understand this limit but after a few days I wish we could have stayed longer than the 10 days we eventually spent there. The only thing that stops me from giving this camp 5 stars is the lack of showers. Near Lake MacDonald for swimming and... More
