The setting was beautiful with tall canopy of trees. Our experience was marred by noisy neighbors who did not quiet down until they were reminded start of quiet hour. Even before the quiet hour, everyone else was just enjoying the quietness of the forest except these neighbors.

Knowing online that there are 25 lots available for 40- ft RV, we came here. However, even at the registration kiosk, there was no information on where those lots are. Out of anxiety(came in late and saw many RVs pulling in), we parked at one of the smallest lot for our 40ft beast. Dumping and portable water top-up are available.... More

I disliked my experience here for one main reason. The volunteer. She was by far the most unfriendly and unhelpful individual I have ever met. I waited 20 years to go to Glacier and spent 18 hours driving there, and then I met her. Ugghhh. Such a bitter taste in my mouth. We arrived on Friday August 14th around 8:30... More

The camp rangers here act as if they are higher and mightier than others...nothing but attitude from four different rangers asked four different questions at four different times...campsite clean and close to apgar village...other than that, skip this one.

We camped at this campground with our children for two nights. The sites are well shaded and there was a nice spot amongst the trees for out tent. Campground was quiet in the day and evenings and the rangers were friendly. Nice lakefront area to swim and skip rocks at. Clean bathrooms with cold running water. If there is a... More

Nice camp sites located within walking distance to Apgar Village and Lake Mc Donald. The camp store in the village will have everything you forgot to bring. Paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and boats are available for rent. The little cafe has great pie. We enjoy our stay with our kids.

We stayed here with a group (13 people). There were 5 spaces for tents (one of them large enough for a large tent), a bear proof box for food, one large and two smaller firepits, two large tables, and bench seating around the large firepit. It worked great for our group. Would stay here again with a group. It's conveniently... More

My friend and I stayed here but were frustrated and the noise level and the amount of rude people that walk through tent sites. It is convenient for walking into the village for shopping and restaurants and accessing Lake McDonald. But for those who are looking for showers need to know that THERE ARE NO SHOWERS IN APGAR CAMPGROUND OR... More

My husband and I stayed here over the long weekend with his parents and all I could think was how great it would be if we had the kids. The camp ground is a typical camp ground but there is a lot of spacing between spaces so you don't feel too close to your neighbours which is nice. Bathrooms are... More

Good choice for tent campers if the weather is poor because you’re close to restaurants, shops and the visitor centre. We were in Loop A, site 21, conveniently sandwiched between a water pump and a bear box. Boxes are quite small and in short supply, consequently have to be shared by a number of campsites, but they’re not needed by... More
