My husband and I stayed at the Many Glacier Hotel from June 13th to June 19th, 2009. If you enjoy hiking and animal sighting, this is one of the best places to be. Within two hours after arriving at the hotel, we could see a mother Moose and a baby from my hotel room balcony This is a historic and... more

This nearly 100-year old lodge sits in a site so beautiful it seems what you're seeing can't be real. The hotel is VERY rustic but if you're open to a unique experience in accommodations of historic significance, you can overlook the obvious shortcomings and enjoy what it affords--clean, comfortable beds in a setting unlike any other. The rates do seem... more

The best I can say about the Many Glacier Hotel is that it is clean. Other than that, it does not even reach the standard of a mediocre Mom & Pop roadside motel. The U.S. should be embarassed that this is "one of the he premier hotels" in the national park system. Poor quality throughout, using "rustic" as an excuse... more

If location is the most important factor for you, you will not be disappointed. The setting is the best I have seen. If you care about the food, room, value, or amenities, this is not a good choice. They keep the old facility clean, but walls are so thin (we could understand every word our neighbors said through the walls,... more

Book early so you can stay in a room with a view! Unfortunately, we weren't aware at what we would be missing out on and ended up in a small room with a view of the parking lot. The room we stayed in was small, but adequate. We ate at the restaurant for dinner our first evening and I had... more

Many Glacier Valley is a unique scenic feast. My review is about a completely unexpected annoyance. NOISE. The trails at and near the hotel were heavily traveled by tourists loudly singing, talking and rattling bells. On my first hike it took a little while to comprehend what was happening. It seems the park is infested with people who have been... more

Had a great stay at Manny. Room was as expected for its age, small but comfortable, Great view we faced the lake. Had little problem with noise but walls are thin. Had dinner at the property a couple of times in both cases it was very good. Best location in Glacier in my opinion as we also stay at the... more

We only stayed one night (between Rising sun and Swiftcurrent lodge). We lucked out and got an excellent room in the annex with views of The lake and a balcony at the end of the annex. We couldnt have been happier for the price we paid. Nice room, bathroom, clean, spacious, quiet although if you wanted to nitpick you could... more

Wow... Unexpected stay during a rainy backpacking trip. The room was outdated but the experience on the whole was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. Great staff, bar, food and shops. The lobby was right out of movie. Our room was 'lakeside' and the view was unbelievable. If you've been to the property you will know... more

We stayed at Manny Glacier Hotel during Labor Day weekend 2008. The lakeside room had a beautiful view and was worth the extra money. The scenery around Manny Glacier Hotel is the best of any lodge in this park. Although the room was small, it had a lot of charm and it felt like we went back in time. The... more
