Stayed at the Many Glacier Lodge mid July, and it was WONDERFUL! Yes, it is old and small, and even when you could sign in to the wifi it did not work, no cell service, but the setting of this lodge is second to none! The grand lobby is just as you would expect, and even in July they had... More

Huge Grand Old Lady of a hotel, on top of a mountain. In the center is a huge 360 degree fireplace that everyone sits around. Be warned: No AC, Internet, No cell phone service. It literally took six steps (and 20 minutes!) to turn on the shower. When I sneezed, I swear the guy in the next room said "Bless... More

We did not get a refurbished room. That may have made all the difference in our experience. We had a lake view room without a balcony. We opened what we thought was a closet door, but instead opened right into another guest room that was occupied. Whoops. That is a little disconcerting. The window in our bathroom was right behind... Have stayed at this fabulous hotel in Glacier National Park many times during my trips tere. It has been a while though so some things may have changed since my last visit. This is a recent picture and it looks the same as on my stays here. But one thing that has not changed. The view from the lake-facing rooms... More

view is stunning, food very good, but the beds not so much -- this 100 year old lodge has a lot of character and history. The long hallway features photos of the glaciers taken 100 years ago alongside photos taken this year from the same point and same time of year. Many are barely visible anymore. Only 25 glaciers left... More

This is a beautiful old hotel. The location is just breathtaking . Be aware when looking at the map of Glacier Park that this is not directly connected to Going to the Sun Road. It is at the end of a 12 mile dead end. You feel very comfortable here. Its nice to sit in the lobby for the wi... More

We stayed two nights in a refurbished lakeside room on the third floor. The location of this hotel on Swiftcurrent Lake is absolutely beautiful, as is the historic hotel. Our room was nicely updated, although there was no AC, refrigerator, TV, etc. The room was small but was clean and comfortable. The claw foot bath tub was a nice touch.... More

The hotel location is wonderful and the information/transportation desk was very knowledgeable about local hikes. They say they have wifi available but they'd be better just denying it....slow SLOW SLOW connectivity if you can get on line at all! Very frustrating, hence the preference to just not have it. Our 2nd floor room with balcony overlooking the lake was clean... More

My wife and I recently spent the night at Many Glaciers Lodge in Montana's Glacier National Park. To say the least, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking! We also got a kick out of the Swiss theme and the bell staff dressed like Swiss bellhops. The views make you think that you really are in Switzerland and it's a very cool... More

It is worth putting up with the disadvantages of this hotel, for the ambiance of the public rooms and the views. Our downstairs room was fine- clean, comfortable for 3 of us. But our traveling companions had a terrible "value" room downstairs. Bad enough that the front desk very nicely moved them upstairs- the 3rd floor room was very, very... More
