We spent two nights at Tonglen Lake Lodge in July, which gave us a full day to go into Denali National Park. The individual cabins are well separated so you get complete privacy. I wouldn't call the cabin luxurious, but it is certainly clean with a comfortable bed and adequate bathroom facilities. Temperature control was good. I understand the principal... More

This is long overdue but hopefully in time for those planning next summer's adventure to Alaska! Our family (mom, dad, five kiddos ages 11 to 27) experienced a once in a lifetime visit visit to Tonglen Lake this past July. This lodge is off the highway, just far enough to feel as if you're in the wilderness, but not too... More

My husband and I booked three nights at the lodge. This was one of the highlights from our 15 day trip. We loved the cabins. Breakfast was so good. Enjoyed a nice long walk on the property. Donna and her team were wonderful. We had the cheese plate with wine in the evening. It was worth what we paid. Much... More

I was here with family in August, and our stay was perfect from start to finish. A personal greeting, assistance in getting to a restaurant and making the next day's plans, and a gorgeous property were just the beginning. We enjoyed the fun little wine bar when we returned from dinner and then they brought out the makings for s'mores... More

I came here in August with my family and just wanted to leave a note here about how much we enjoyed our stay. Donna was in touch with us even before we arrived to help us book our adventure into the park (we did fly in/ drive out of the park- highly recommended!), and it was great to have such... More

My husband and I enjoyed a comfortable 3 night stay at Tonglen Lake. From the personal greeting from Donna, the artist owner, to the delicious breakfast options and personal service, to the individual log cabins, to the evening open fire, we found Tonglen Lake Lodge to be superior. The setting is gorgeous and private! So private that one evening, walking... More

Before we even arrived they were making great suggestions for our trip; as soon as we arrived they welcomed us and made us feel like family coming for a visit. They also helped us book some excursions/adventures while we were there. Our cabin was perfect, set back in the woods just far enough; comfy bed; super quiet and with it's... More

Driving through Alaska, especially Denali, is beautiful all in its own but this escape was magnificent. Great location and great service. Best free breakfast I've ever had. Donna made everything very personal and made a great host.

My husband and I stayed two nights at Tonglen Lake Lodge. It is very close to the entrance to Denali Park. Donna, the owner, was there to greet us before we even got out of our car. She showed us around the grounds and then guided us to our room. Tonglen has small little wagons to help you transport your... More
