We stayed in cabin 5 for two nights and my review mimics an earlier review on July 21 so read that :) I knew this cabin would be rustic but I also knew it was less expensive than most accommodations in the area. My kids loved the creek although the banks in this part of the creek are steep and... More

After bein in the park all day it was nice to come back to the cabin. For looking so rustic it was pretty modern. I didn't book it so I didn't know what to expect but I was glad it was carpeted, clean and had a heater and mini fridge and microwave. It was very small for the 2 beds... More

We spent two nights in Cabin 5 at Carlo Creek Lodge. The cabin was located in a quiet wooded area, with Carlo Creek running right behind it. The cabin was rustic but cozy and comfortable. It had two queen beds, a single bed, microwave, small refrigerator and a small table. It's a lot of stuff in a small area, but... More

Our Carlo Creek Lodge stay was really nice. We were in cabin T our first night and cabin A our third night. The cabins were booked for the second night so we had reserved a lodge room, which we did not enjoy due to the thin walls and noise from neighbors. But we loved the cabins, especially cabin T. The... Cabin we stayed in was clean and bed very comfortable. Good heater on rather cold night of our arrival. Toilet and shower block nearby clean and plenty of hot water. Good laundry facilities ($2 washing machine $2 dryer) WiFi in Cabin A very weak and did not work, access in office area OK. Grounds and access roads need some TLC.... More

We were looking for a budget place to stay for 3 days that is close to Denali. My wife love this place. Yes, the room doesn't have a TV, but who needs a TV when you are in Denali National Park? The wi-fi signal is a little weak but usable. There was not cell phone signal here. It does have... More

If I owned such a beautiful piece of property on a creek near Denali, I think I would try a little harder to add some charm to the cabins. The cabins, for the most part, are fairly attractive on the outside. Inside, they are tired, inconvenient, crowded, and not that clean (there was a dried up French fry just under... More

We are sorry to hear you did not find the private bath cabin to your liking. We try to be very descriptive and explain those are the historic cabins built in the early 1960's. The private bath cabins have been kept as original as possible on purpose to offer guests a true Alaskan experience. When lands were originally homesteaded cabins... More

NO TV, no microwave, no breakfast, but a great bed!! You need a car to get here from the train station. We ate meals at Denali Village Lodge, a fancy hotel near by. Carlo Creek Lodge is on a fairly large property with a rushing river right in back, and could accommodate large school groups or groups of backpackers with... More

My family stayed at Carlo Creek cabins 8/14 following a 7day cruise. It was such a delight to see the wooded 14 acres creek side and the adorable cabins. Total quiet and peace in a beautiful surrounding. The staff was friendly and wonderful. The restaurant across the street-Perch resort restaurant was more than we expected in the wilderness. The chef... More

We stayed in Cabin T which used a shared bathroom facility. The cabin was very cute, although there was a small space where the door did not shut perfectly tight and mosquitos could come in; this was fixed by putting a fleece over the opening. The shared bathroom facility was very clean and spacious, one shower house with four rooms... More
