This was the great place to stay if you are on a budget ,Denial, National Park, is only 15 minutes away and you can’t beat the price. We stayed in cabin T for 3 days, which has a sod roof with trees growing out of it; I thought it was cute/ and would be fun to say we sleep in... More

DH and I stayed 2 nights in the sod roof cabin in 2012! It was cute, well furnished, clean and perfect for us. We have camped with our kids for many, many years, so sharing rest rooms, showers was no problem. We enjoyed the beautiful views while walking the grounds. The laundry room was put to use to help repack... More

We recently stayed in Cabin #2. This was a rustically elegant place to stay. So close to Denali National Park. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. And there is a fantastic restaurant just across the street, The Creekside Café, where we dined on some great dinners and even got box lunches for our bus trip into Denali the next day. Would... I stayed in cabin B. It had a queen and a single in it. The beds were comfortable. We had a microwave and mini fridge, coffee maker would have been nice. You have a central bath/shower house which was also new and nice and clean. New latches for the showerhouse doors would be a good thing tho. Staff was friendly,... More

This was such a cute, clean place. We had a cabin with bath, very reasonable rates. Lovely front porch, beautiful raining full of burls. Right in back of our cabin we had the roaring creek. This place was not fancy, but totally clean and functional. Furnishings were just what you expect in a log cabin. Beds comfortable. Tiny shower, but... More

Our party of four recently rented cabins 3 and 4. In my opinion, these cabins need a lot of work. There were large spaces under the door for insects and rodents to enter. The floors were spongy and not level. In my opinion, dilapidated does not equal rustic. It was the only disappointing part of our otherwise fabulous stay in... More

There were four of us and we rented two cabins. This place is on the creek, but access to view it was difficult to say the least. The cabins were described as rustic- well it can be rustic without being smelly, dirty, and untouched since it was built. It had a gap at bottom of the door big enough for... More

We stayed in cabin 5 for two nights and my review mimics an earlier review on July 21 so read that :) I knew this cabin would be rustic but I also knew it was less expensive than most accommodations in the area. My kids loved the creek although the banks in this part of the creek are steep and... More

After bein in the park all day it was nice to come back to the cabin. For looking so rustic it was pretty modern. I didn't book it so I didn't know what to expect but I was glad it was carpeted, clean and had a heater and mini fridge and microwave. It was very small for the 2 beds... More

We spent two nights in Cabin 5 at Carlo Creek Lodge. The cabin was located in a quiet wooded area, with Carlo Creek running right behind it. The cabin was rustic but cozy and comfortable. It had two queen beds, a single bed, microwave, small refrigerator and a small table. It's a lot of stuff in a small area, but... More
