Campground is great in a great location. Sites are pretty private. There is a nice general store with laundry and hot showers. There is a free shuttle to visitors center and other places within the park. Would definitely camp there again.

We stayed two separate nights at this campground. The people in the camp store are very nice and helpful. The bathroom facilities are all clean. It has a couple really pretty hikes that start at the back and one takes you down to the creek for a beautiful and relaxing walk.

We booked this site for the 15th May 2014, the day it was supposed to open. We arrived on the 14th evening, which is free, intending to top up the waters and flush the sewage the next day, when facilities become available. Alas, when we walked into the store-office to register, we discovered the water was still not potable and... More

When booking our trip to Denali, I wasn’t sure which of the campgrounds to book. In the end I booked our first night at Riley and 2 at Savage. Riley is close the entrance and provides easy access to the WAC, kennels, store, RV dump station, etc. I think this worked out well as we could explore the area near... More

We stayed here just one night, and we were very happy with the campsite that we had. We have a truck with camper, and the parking area was level, with a little hill that had a picnic table and firepit/grill. The area was very clean. While we didn't utilize any of the bathroom facilities on the loops, they looked clean... More

Clearly a good opportunity to save money vs the exensive lodge around. Nice location, shuttle coming there to go to the WAC, nice shop ans wifi near the campground. Perfect to start or end a Denali trip.

We stayed here during our visit to Denali National Park. The price was OK (~$22, I think) but the sites and the layouts were great. There was a great balance between number of sites, trees and space / privacy. The mercantile was pretty close too and it was great overall. I'd definitely go back in a heartbeat.

When we arrived in Denali at 7 PM after arriving in Anchorage at 1 AM and renting our RV and leaving Anchorage at 2 PM, we were pretty tired and ready to relax. Due to our late arrival, the RV park was mostly full and we ended up staying in the farthest of the 3 camping areas (Caribou area). It... More

We stayed there two nights in late May. We ended up there a day early of our reservation as we ventured off our original plan. When we arrived, we found out that the other two campgrounds in Denali were closed due to the flooding from "the melt." Since there was a spot open that 'day early' we opted to give... More

We stayed at Riley Creek for two nights July 19 & 20, 2012 in our 32' RV rented from Great Alaskan Holidays. Our spacious site was next to the walkway to the Mercantile. It was very quiet, and we really enjoyed this campground. We especially enjoyed the close proximity to the Wilderness Access Center (WAC) where all the bus tours... More
